I was looking for a short weight tree that did not take up much space. This fits the bill perfect. I use mostly 35's, 25's, 10's, and 5's which works very well with this setup and leaves a decent amount of space between plates to grab them. The construction and paint job seem to be high quality. I did receive mine missing one of the posts so I contacted body solid and was able to actually talk to a very nice human and within 1 week got the part that was missing. Really happy with both the purchase and the support afterwards.

I've had dozens of plates racks or weight trees over the years by various brands. I've had the straight, vertical kind, the most common triangle style, bumper plate or flat styles and two versions of this style - the tripod style for lack of a better word. This is the most sturdy one I've hand, hands down. This is also made with the best metals, hands down. The fit and finish is top notch. The metal feels like either 11 gauge or heavier. People can't seem to grasp that bumper plates are different and don't work to well on normal plate racks like this. You can put them on where the 45's would go and that's it. If you have bumpers (I do), get a flat stand. This easily fits my complete iron weight set plus an extra pair of 45's and 2.5lb plates. I've still got plenty of room to spare. Plus, it takes up very little room. All this, at under $60 is really an incredible deal. Kudos to Body Solid on this home run of a product.

The Powerline OWT24 EZ Olympic Weight Tree is a great product; I may even go as far as saying it's practically "unbeatable" for its price.I purchased the Powerline OWT24 EZ because it fell into the price range I was really hoping to stay within, and the reviews were very positive overall. I was concerned primarily about stability (especially on a carpeted area) and weight capacity. This was the least expensive unit that received consistent positive reviews pertaining to both aspects.Assembly:The product arrived disassembled, double boxed with all parts organized fairly efficiently. The product is very easy to assemble; the instructions were hardly necessary. Only a socket (I forgot which size) and an adjustable wrench are necessary for assembly. Including unpacking, laying out, retrieving tools and assembling the unit, everything took around 20-30 minutes to complete.Positives:So far, the product has lived up to my expectations.+ As I mentioned above, assembly was a cinch. Minimal time, tools and experience necessary.+ It's stable on carpet. I balanced the weights with 45s, 10s, and 2.5s on one side, and 35s, 25s and 5s on the other (with the heavier weights at the bottom, obviously). I tried to rock and knock the stand around and it wouldn't budge, so I am confident in its ability.+ It's sturdy, with good weight capacity. My unit is currently supporting 305lbs of weight without any issue. The pegs that hold the weights can be off-set to hold more on one side than the other (for example, I have eight 10lb plates, so I had to adjust the peg more to one side to hold all of them, while the other side of that peg secures two 25lb plates).+ It's looks pretty nice, and is well laid out.Negatives:I only have one minor gripe about the OWT24 EZ that prevented a "perfect" rating...- The pegs that hold the weights slide through round holes in the rack, and are secured by single bolts that push directly into the metal of the peg. This is fine if you get it adjusted appropriately the first time and never purchase any more weights / have to adjust the pegs further, however it's difficult not to overtighten the securing bolt, which removes paint from the peg and stands a good chance of denting it, so after a few adjustments it'll have a few dents and exposed metal areas... I'm not sure how this could have been avoided, though, especially using this format and keeping it in this price range. Not really a huge deal, but it causes a concern for potential rust issues on those exposed metal areas, and if a substantial amound of adjustment is performed (with overtightening), the weight peg may eventually begin to lose its integrity.Overall I highly recommend this weight tree!

I looked at many different types of weight trees for my 300lb olympic weight set. I decided on this one, not only for the price, but also because it is not straight up and down. Some weight trees hold the weights in a vertical position. This is perfect and fits very nicely in my gargage next to the bench. Assembly is a breeze all you need is a 17mm and 14mm wrenches and this thing is put together in 10 minutes max. I have a 300lb set with random extra plates and this tree easily holds them all and feels very solid. You cannot go wrong on this one for the price!

This is really made for a very small home gym. It wobbles and the plates do not organize well. The paint chips off quickly if used with the cast iron plates.

There's not much to say about this other than it's a solid, sturdy weight tree. I saw the same thing in several fitness stores for far more than the Amazon list price. Assembly was a snap, and I stood on the cross supports myself (and I'm a fairly big guy) to test them, and there were no problems. I've got 210lbs worth of weight plates on it now and it still feels rock solid. I'll be adding some 45s on it soon, and I don't expect it will be a problem. It fits nicely in the corner and the plates go on and off without any problems.

There is a reason this is under $50.00. If you don't mind some scratches, dings, and missing hardware this is your product. Otherwise, I recommend going with something else. It arrived with the packaging open on the ends and the parts are in the box loose so they are scuffed from rattling around. The connector plate on one of the supports was bent so it took some muscle to bend it in place. Finally the hardware was missing and rather than increase my frustration I went to the local hardware store and purchased my own for another $7.00. Other than that it appears to hold my 300lb Olympic set just fine.

Small, strong, easy to assemble and it gets the job done. You'll need a 17mm socket and a 17mm wrench to get at some nuts where a socket won't fit. I think I might have used a 15mm socket as well. The best way to put the caps on the ends of the tubing, without breaking them, is to use a wooden mallet. Takes less than a half an hour. Good luck.

Well made. Solidly built.Looks a hell of a lot better (and beefier) in person. Basically the pictures don't do this thing justice.Looks very professional and feels rock solid. Had it on my wish-list for ages. Finally decided to buy it and wish I bought it earlier.Superb piece of kit. Only negative? The labels are not fixed perfectly straight but this is nitt-picking.Overall, very happy with this purchase and has made my gym look much tidier.
