You have to take you time with set up and make sure vanes are all in the slots at the right height but once you get the hang of it you can Fletch arrows with ease and the come out looking like they are factory fetched. 1 degree left works great for right handed bows.

Decided to write a review and found it to be $45 cheaper than what I paid 2 weeks ago! If it's under $60 right now, buy it.Assembly was not a problem. Some have struggled with holding the nuts in place while engaging the screws. Just use a little tape to hold the nut in its slot. I've done a bunch of my old arrows now and found the jig to be very simple and easy to use. I've only used 4" plastic fletching at this point.

I've been making my own arrows for almost 40 years, and have always used a Bitzenburger. I recently bought my first target bow and found myself having to repair/re-fletch a *lot* of arrows before I finally wised up and quit shooting the whole end at one target. ;-) This jig makes the job considerably faster and easier. Love it!Although I do agree with others that it wouldn't kill them to include more fletch tapes to get you started, in reality if you clean them with a q-tip dipped in alcohol after each session they should last a reasonably long time. A+

Our archery shot doesn’t work on crossbows, so when my husband ruined vanes on an arrow, we began looking for a DIY solution. Could not find the boil and wrap fletching longer than 3 inches, so we bought this rig, and 2 different color of 100 bohning vanes, and the Amazon recommended glue and stripper tool. Spouse practiced on a broken arrow first, and his vanes were harder to get back off than the ones that came on it! Worked perfect to fletch both crossbow bolts (the new Bohning cauldron fletching rig won’t), and regular arrows - he is a happy Hunter!

Did 3 arrows and this thing would not put fletchings in same place. Very inconsistent. Fletchings would not stay in jig they would fall down about 3/16†when closing jig. Would not know it until you opened it to inspect arrow.PLAIN AMD SIMPLE JUNK!!!

Been fletching for 40yrs, have used and own about all regarded fletcher's that have been on the market for my 40yrs.Thought to give the 3-at-a-time a try and after only 3 shafts here's my opinion and mods Bohning could easily make to make this plastic tool function significantly better in vane spacing and ease of use for the user.#1 modify the Center Posts.Elongate the length of the insert and improve the tolerance for a more snug fit, they are far too sloppy. This will ensure the vane spacing will dramatically improve, currently there's too much inconsistency and will affect arrow accuracy.#2 get rid of the current spacers. If the Center Post insert area is elongated it would certainly make it far more user friendly to use spacer collars directly on the center post. Three sizes for each Post would be great. This alleviate the cumbersome task of removing the current spacer plates along with frustrating task of trying to hold such a small nut underneath a very tight area while attempting to screw the retaining bolt in. Also, the recessed area the slips up into needs 3-extrusions in the pocket so once the nut is tightened up the 1st time... the nut will secure itself in the pocket. This will alleviate and factor out the nut falling out during an arm change in the event the retaing bolt is slightly over-loosened which is very easy to do.#3 Pressure Rings. The depth of the Pressure Rings needs to be lengthened by 1/2" to ensure a more even pressure from top to bottom of the fletching. If the arms were made of metal this would not be an issue but I've found it applies more pressure 1/3 down the fletching than at the bottom. As it is currently, using two of the Pressure Rings fixes this issue for nice even pressure. It's difficult to engineer plastics as a tool, you have to go the extra mile in engineering to compensate for flexing.4# improve marketing advantage. The Complete kit should include a "get you started package" maybe Fletch Fuse and fletching tips guide.

Nice piece of kit, but be aware that of the nine arms, six are for vanes, one is for crossbow, and only two are for feathers.

Best tool to Fletch arrows. Even when only one is damaged, easy to fix without touching other two. And 8 adapter's give you excellent choice.

This is a very extensive kit that will fletch any arrow that you have. The only problem I have is that two of the three small screws that hold the arms on are the wrong size for the nuts supplied and I have had to use the longer screws and spacers. This puts my flights higher than I wanted and it may be hard to source the right size and thread of replacement screws, some quality control would have been nice. Apart from that it is very good. Watching the instructions on YouTube is better than the poor instruction manual.
