I needed to replace one failed PB153M 1.5A 200V rectifier in an old NAD 3240PE amp I am trying to resuscitate. These Bojack rectifiers have the same form-factor, but spec'd 2A 1kV (hard to believe really). Considering the shipping and handling cost to buy a single rectifier from anywhere, getting this big bag-o-rectifiers was much better, giving me insurance in case the replacement blows up as well on account of some other downstream failure. It's in place now and it seems to work just fine-- power on (but still no sound sadly).

These bridge rectifiers are amazingly versatile, and electrically strong devices. The price is also amazing, and the usefulness is a designer's dream. Using a one piece bridge instead of making a bridge rectifier with four diodes is as easy as can be hoped for. I am so glad I purchased these tiny marvels.
