Thermal Fuse Characteristics:
It consists of a sliding contact, a spring, and an electrically
nonconductive thermal pellet. Before the thermal fuse is activated,
current flows from the left lead to the sliding contact and through
the metal housing to the right lead. When the external temperature
reaches a predetermined temperature, the organic matter
meltsand the compression spring becomes loose. That is, the
spring expands and the sliding contact is separated from the
left lead. The circuit is opened and the current between the sliding
contact and the left lead is cut off.

Electric irons, Rice cookers, Copiers, Electric stoves, Chargers,
power taps, Water dispensers, Coffee makers etc.

I bought this to fix a Belgian waffle maker. The waffle maker was working fine for a couple years, and just won't turn on when I pulled it out and try to make some waffle on a Sunday morning. I didn't throw it away in the hope there is a fix, and indeed there is. After a few month when I finally decided to open it up, I found the thermal fuse is busted. I found this replacement on Amazon looks identical to the markings on the broken fuse, and bought it. After more than a few hours disassembling and re-assembling, the waffle maker is back to life!I sure could have bought just another waffle maker to replace the old one, but it's such a shame to throw it in the trash and eventually end up in a landfill. For the sake of argument, if the manufacture could make this a serviceable part, we probably would have a lot less waste in the landfill just because a tiny part is broken.

My face steamer stopped working and I ended up determining that the thermal fuse was shot. I ordered these, replaced the stock fuse, and now it's working better than it ever did!

The thermal fuse in my popcorn machine opened up. This was a direct replacement. Replaced it and popcorn machine is up and popping. Thanks!!!

My Cuisinart Single Serve Coffer Maker DGB-2:One of the two heating thermal fuses is damaged and melt.Replaced with the purchased one, it works great.Just cut off the old two sides' lead ends and use a butt splice to connect the new one. Of course, you need a crimper to press down the butt splice to make firm connection.

While the delivery was fast and the fuse worked it did not come with a crimp clips needed to install so if you are looking to buy it you are better off with one that is a little more expensive that has the crimps included.
