Lacking a bit on some adjustments, putting it together was a royal pain. I had to find youtube vids on similar chairs to see how it goes together. Even then I could have used a seal to help me balance it while installing some screws. :)

It turned out to be ridiculously hard to find a reasonably priced decent quality a drafting height chair with recline, headrest, adjustable lumbar and armrests but this one has all those features. The cushions and back are a bit more firm than my normal chair but still very comfortable and seem like they might break in a bit. The range of height adjust works fine for my variable height desk.

This seat is way more comfortable than I imagined. We purchased the chair for three reasons. 1. It’s used at a desk that is taller and by a tall man so the height was important. 2. It has a large cushioned seat that slopes down at the thigh so you can sit without your legs falling asleep. 3. The arms flip completely out of the way so my husband can swivel around from the desk and play guitar. The guitar playing was also what made the foot ring so important. The chair works perfectly for all our needs and my husband loves it!
