The tape appears to work as described. Used on flex exhaust tubing to dissipate heat . Adhesive is very good and sticks to everything.

We use this as backing for the trim before it's installed on windows. Just install it directly on the wall then put the trim over it. Seems to at least keep the room a few degrees hotter during the Winter by reflecting the heat back along the window trim and eliminating drafts (of course we filled any gaps with mud/foam/caulk too.) Anything to help with this Chicago weather.

Would have been exactly what I wanted if not for the poor adhesion to itself and other materials I tried like fabric and foam.
