How To Use Cam Buckle Tie Down Straps
- STEP 1: Hold the cam and feed the loose end of the long straps section up and through the foam protector first
- STEP 2: Depress the cam trigger to expose the webbing opening, then threading webbing to the opening and pass the cam buckle teeth
- STEP 3: Continue to pull the webbing through until the desired length is achieved
- STEP 4: Release the trigger, pull straps out to tighten, ensure the webbing not slip and the teeth of the cam lock into the webbing

I have a bike rack in my truck that locks the front tire down securely... but I'm kind of a freak so I bought a package of 4 of these and use them to add that additional security of keeping my bike upright. They are easy to use and don't have a ratchet system, which can sometimes be a nightmare. Also, it has a sliding pad so you don't scratch your bike.Good product and very good price.FYI - you can cut them to your desired length. If you do cut them, use a lighter to singe the end you cut. It will just make it easier when feeding it through the clamp.One more note; I leave these in my truck at all times and have had them for over a month and the ratchet has not rusted at all.

Got these straps to secure some sporting items to the ceiling beams in the garage, the packaging was great, clasp to secure the straps was easy to use and closed really easily. These are just great, easy to use, and do what they say they are going to do! Highly Recommended

I am actually quite happy with these ties. It has a nice black color. It was a bit thin so I was afraid of putting too much when using these ties. I tried holding down several items during a move. The problem I faced was the thinner ties makes it hard to really secure larger objects so be aware of that. I found this works best for items such as bikes and boats at times. When holding down certain objects know that the friction can cause some scratches to the items. It is pretty easy to tie and secure with the hinges. The fact it comes with four ropes makes it very nice to hold using all 4 corners of the truck that I utilize. It does come in an antistatic like bag and are held together per zip ties. They have a good length to them making it easy to hold bikes up if needed. The hooks are made of metal so you do not have to worry about them breaking too easily. Overall great quality and no issues.

Bought these for extra security on my car carrier for a trip from Michigan to Florida. They did an excellent job of keeping everything held down and in place on the trip.My car is a Fusion, so I have no racks, but the straps go inside the car and there was a lot of extra slack, so they were dangling and blocking my view through my rear window, but that’s because we forgot to tape them before we left. It’s a pretty easy minor annoyance to fix, we were just in such a hurry we forgot to do it! Otherwise these worked fabulously!

Great alternative to ratchet straps to set up quickly and easy. Good when you don’t want to overtighten or deal with a large metal assembly like a ratchet strap. They hold hundreds of pounds as well.

I like the length at 16 feet, which is enough to secure a sit-in Kayak to our roof rack with J-racks. These are easy to use, with a neoprene back and slot to feed through to the clamp hardware. It also has velcro attached to secure the extra lead. Very sturdy and durable so far for outside transportation of our kayaks.

The webbing is lighter and the buckle casting is lighter and poorer quality than previous ones I've purchased. We'll see how long they last, but I'll only use them for light duty.
