This bonded fabric blade and housing are compatible with all explore family machines and maker family machines.
Sharp High-quality German Tungsten Steel Blade
Our bonded fabric blade is super sharp, for your safety, each blade is covered with a silicone cap (pink) that protects both the blade and your fingers! Removing the protective cap from the new blade.
Recommendable Cutting Materials
Our bonded fabric blade and housing are recommended for more intricate cuts on bonded fabrics or fabrics with an iron-on backer, like:
- Bonded Polyester
- Bonded Silk
- Bonded Cotton
- Bonded Denim
- Bonded Felt, and more.
NOTE: BONDED FABRIC-fabric that has a bonding on the back of it, you can use Iron-On Adhesive as the bonding.
Step 1
Removing the protective cap from the new blade.
Step 2
Upside down the housing, carefully insert the new blade. Ensuring the blade tip end is facing outwards.
Step 3
Bonded fabric blade should be installed in Clamp B.

This blade performs extremely well, and fits perfectly in my cricut explore air 2. The blade housing is plastic, but looks exactly like my metal cricut blade housing. I use this for bonded fabric and it cut through very nicely. It’s also pink which is a plus.

This blade does what it's supposed to do. The housing feels much cheaper than official Cricut blade housings, but it works just fine. I'm just not sure how long the blade is going to last when compared to other brands as far as durability is concerned... I feel like I'm starting to see signs of the blade dulling on some more recent cuts, but I've been using it for a few months so that's to be expected.So far it's been doing what I need it to do for the past few months, so no complaints other than the super lightweight housing.

I bought these to make a reusable plastic stencil. My regular fine point blade wasnt working, so I bought these and it worked perfect. I have a cricut explore air 2, and I was cutting on the dollar tree cutting mats to make my stencil. Worked great!
