I like to keep a wide variety of wire around in my studio. This was a good roll to add to my supplies. I l love the copper color. It is easy to work with.

We got the 10 gauge wire in green. Although it is bonsai training wire, we use it for other ornamental plants and tall orchids. It is strong and flexible, and it keeps its shape as expected. We got it in green so that its presence is not immediately visible. This is a big roll, so it will last a long time, and it is an exceptionally good value for such quality wire.

This coil is a good length that should last a long time. the 3mm gauge is probably one of the most frequently used sizes so it is great to get a larger coil in this size to have around. The wire color itself is nice and dark. It will enhance the appearance of your trees rather than distract.being aluminum, it bends easier than the copper wire favored by so many. I will concede that copper looks better, but copper is so much more difficult to use. dark colored aluminum like this is the way to go.

I have tons of bonsai around and I like having some of this wire around when I want to train certain branches. I really like how this aluminum stuff does not rust so it's a lot easier to tie in your trees and also to train branches. Overall there's tons of it on this roll of super cheap and affordable and it just plain old works so I highly recommend it

As a general rule, there's not going to be much difference between different brands of wire if they're meeting the same description. In every way I can evaluate, this meets its description. It's aluminum, which is of course quite easy to bend, and the gauge and color are what I ordered. I'm not using it for bonsai, but it's good craft wire, regardless.The spool can obviously differ, but to me, this is a perfectly good spool. It's lightweight plastic, but sturdy enough to do its job, and there's a hole to help you park the end of the wire and keep it from unwinding. There's nothing else I'd ask for!

Some of my older copper shaping wires are corroding and leaking blue powder. I'm hoping to replace it with something that won't do that in the future and this seems to be good enough for that.The wire is thick and holds its shape well. It's not as strong as steel or copper wire of the same thickness, but good enough. The extra diameter works out for me since I like to incorporate some of the little knots from the wires into the aesthetic of my bonsai.This also works as craft wire, but the insulation kind of gets in the way.
