HISTORY
Bont was founded in Sydney in 1975 when Inze Bont, a recreational speed skater decided to fiberglass the back of his leather speed skates to gain more support. Bont was the first footwear manufacturer to use exotic material like fiberglass in 1974, Kevlar in 1986 and Carbon Fiber in 1989, and the first to use heat moldable resins and thermoplastics. In the 1980's Bont dominated the quad racing scene with the lightest and strongest boots on the market thanks to our unique one-piece manufacturing technique. Bont was the first quad skate company to use lace covers, velcro, and aluminum strengtheners in the boots.

These toe guards are great! They fit perfectly on my boot. I warmed the leather up before putting them on my skates. I think they look adorable and will definitely protect my boot from getting scuffed. I was hesitant as we never had these when I was skating as a teen so I thought it looked like they would move and not stay put. But after finding the lace pattern I wanted and lacing up these things are sturdy and staying in place well. Very happy I got them and will definitely buy this brand again in another color. Highly recommend this brand. They are made by a very good skate company who knows skates!!!

I got this to protect my skates from the front damage which happens to me a lot since I am still learning. so far, they have done an amazing job. they don't slide around. fit very nice and tight and also provide some sort of good look. would definitely recommend.

The color was a good match for the laces on my daughter's skates. They seem sturdy and should do the job, although they are a bit narrower than I would have preferred.

Perfect fit and style. I could have gotten some a few dollars cheaper but I sprung for the quality and brand recognition. The color is bright and vibrant.

Very good product it's a good thick cut and when laced properly they do not move . Love the color choices. I've bought others but these by far are the BEST. Great price, definitely reccomend.

They did not fit my Moonlight rollers at all lost first 4 eyelets but they worked on my sure-grips slightly I still lost 2 eyelets no option for sizes first photo shows how I made it tighter on the skate and I rather like it , second photo shows just putting them on losing 4 eyelets 1st one is tighter of course because of the eyelets use ..the leather is genuine and nice bont logo …..scuff test update soon

I may be a more aggressive skater and just tear up my skates quickly but I found that the colour off of one toe guard scraped off in a week, although I'm not surprised at all given that its painted on the leather.I may have been better off getting the suede toe guards as that material is more durable but I chose these since this light blue matched my skates a bit better.
