HISTORY
Bont Skates was founded in Sydney in 1975 when Inze Bont, a recreational short track ice speed skater decided to fiberglass the back of his leather speed skates to gain more support. Bont quickly became the world's largest producer of ice speed skates and then branched out into inline speed skates, quad speed skates, roller derby skates, and long track speed skates. Bont was the first footwear manufacturer to use exotic material like fiberglass in 1974, Kevlar in 1986 and Carbon Fiber in 1989, and the first to use heat moldable resins and thermoplastics. Bont was also the first company to use adjustable ice blades and remains the world's largest producer of speed skates and custom speed skates.

Happy with purchase. It's very light and big, which means that it's not the thickest material or zippers. But they've worked reliably for a few trips. I'm a bigger guy and it fits fine. Doesn't easily fit my size 13 rollerblades but I can get them strapped in there with the straps.

All my roller skate gear, tools, spare clothes, snacks and water bottle fit in the main compartment. There are still 3 compartments which I haven't used yet, so plenty of room.The roller skates (Sure-Grip Boardwalk, 9M) fit nicely on the sides backpack - attached using the straps on either side of the pack.The bag is stylish and look's well made and doesn't feel cheap - feels like how quality packs do.The backpack is comfortable to carry.The sternum strap is a very useful addition.And, the all black pack is really lovely!Love it!! Recommend it!!

This skate bag is perfect and more durable than I expected! It not only has room for your skates, padding, and a change of clothes, you can easily throw your purse inside as well. Perfect for skating to work or running errands with. I also love that it has great padding around the back and shoulders so the weight distributes nicely. The material is quality as well and I could see this being fine if you ever took a tumble. Seriously, money well spent. 👌ðŸ»

My son is very happy with this bag. He is 7 and it very easily fits his speed skate, hockey skates, helmet and water bottle. Good quality, sturdy and big.

Awesome and huge! I bought this for my 8-year-old who plays Roller Derby and it’s almost as tall as she is. OK, maybe a slight exaggeration but she can just about fit IN the bag so if you’re looking for something with ginormous capacity, this is your bag.

I purchased this to carry all my roller derby gear and skates because I hate the athletic bag style that hangs on your shoulder. This first everything and looks cool. I strap my helmet on top and love that I can strap my skates to the sides of the bag

I purchased this bag in May ‘22 and used and abused it a good bit. I am a heavy skater and I carry about a gallon of water in this bag along with my quads and other gear. 19 months after purchase the worn out bag gave up the ghost and developed a non repairable tear creating a big hole in one of the side pockets. Great bag.

I was pleased with the bag when we first received it Aug 2024, but by Oct 2024 it was ripped. I wish it lasted longer or had info for returning. Shouldn’t be ripping in less than months!
