I bought this custom embosser for my wife as she’s a children’s book author and I thought it would be a cool little added touch to books she personally signs. I read some of the reviews and the negative ones had me concerned. Once I got it I tried it and was immediately impressed. The initial sketch that I had wouldn’t work for the embosser so they reached out to tell me and I sent a different pic of the character and they made it perfectly. Not a bad deal for the price at all in my opinion.

Unfortunately, the product image for some of the embossers seem to be misleading. The fine lines are just not visible on the mushrooms and the book of the stamp I picked. :/ Looking at the stamp they're there, just not calpable of being produced on the paper. Thought maybe it was my user error, but the stamp on the sticker the manufacturer placed on the box appears the same as mine. A bit disappointed for the price.*Last name blurred for obvious reasons

The design of this Ex Libris is beautiful. I ordered the mushrooms sprouting from the book, with the first line saying “From the library of†and my full name written in the third line; I chose the bottom oriented embosser option. The embosser is ineffective. Whether it’s the press itself or the fine details of the center image, the center image does not imprint on the page no matter how hard I squeeze. I have only successfully created the full image on receipt paper and on a mass market paperback’s cheap, thin pages, both of which tore from the pressure needed to get the full image to transfer. I would not recommend this at all in the embosser option—it doesn’t work and was a waste of money. That said, it is a beautiful design and may work better as a stamp, which is what gave this review the two stars, instead of just one. Don’t order the embosser for this design!

My daughter is THRILLED with this purchase. She spent the day after she got it marking her entire library and loving every minute of it. The machine is easy to use and the stamp comes out clean and clear. This was a superb gift.

I ordered the mushroom embosser stamp and wasn’t happy with what I had received. The details in the image weren’t clear and I had to press really hard, to point of damaging the paper, to get any kind of detail. I reached out to the company and they very quickly rectified the problem. I chose a new image and they sent it to me very quickly. Their customer service was polite, quick to respond, and accommodating. I’m very pleased with the replacement. It’s rich in detail and I don’t have to press hard at all. Thank you!

Plastic plates on this embosser didn’t make an impression on the paper. Pictures on the post misrepresent what the actual embossed picture I looks like.Company was easy to deal with to make it right.

Wow, ordered this for a book girlie friend and I'm super sad with the finished product. The cute mushrooms are largely undefined and the book also is not defined close to the spine. The "from the library of" is the clearest part of the impression. Does NOT look like the photo.
