I have a similar stand that I use daily in my office for my tablet, and move it around to hold cookbooks in the kitchen, and to my night stand to watch movies on my tablet. It was getting kind of tedious moving the stand around. I wanted a second stand for portability so that I can keep my other stand in my office where it is used the most. This stand fit the bill. It is just as functional as my other stand, but bargain priced compared to other similar stands. It is well constructed and completely functional for multiple uses. My only issue, though not a deal breaker, is that I wish the shelf that holds your book, tablet etc, was longer and a bit wider for larger books.With that minor issue, I find this stand to be a great bargain and it is now my designated portable stand.

While it is heavy, this sturdy stand is good not only for books, but can easily hold a laptop computer and raise it up to a better level to save on eye strain if you have an external keyboard andmouse.

This product is of great quality and works well to hold my daughter's textbook while she is studying. The angle helps her from looking down for long periods, and I use it to hold cookbooks while cooking dinner for family nights. It looks minimal and takes up little room on her desk or in the kitchen. The arms that hold the book are strong and not flimsy so there is no need to worry about breaking it. This is a must-have for students who would like to clear room on their desk, or those who do not appreciate depending on make-shift stands for their cookbooks.

It is very useful for for my eyes since I can adjust it to my height and eyesight.A new and unique design.Ergonomic design is better and helps with solving my backache problem.
