Okay, I saw that this was reviewed well so I had to buy it. I really wanted to get back into bookbinding but I didn't want to spend too much money on it yet cause I am but a college student. When I got my package everything was there and all really decent quality. The thread is nicely waxed, it's not too sticky, which I like. The bone folder is a lot longer than I anticipated as I am used to the smaller sizes but it definitely is 8in which is interesting. The scissors are sharp, and the hinge works nice (and they're cute lol). Nothing I wrong with what I got and it is definitely worth the buy if you're starting out!!

Useful tool set, however, lacks curved needles. Bought another kit to get a full set of tools as recommneded by my instructor.

The Kit is great and good quality! Unfortunately the long bone folder dose not tapper so getting into corners is a little hard, but the small bone folder dose that job extremely well. Thread is a good quality being a braided wax thread. The ruler is honestly the tool I use the most, numbers are clear and easy to read and it is made of a good quality steal. I would highly recommend this kit if there is tools inside that you need for your bookbinding or leather crafting needs. Best kit I have every gotten!

This is a good value for the money and a decent starting point. I don't use at all the little shears it comes with, or the little ruler. The awl is good, as is the bone folder. The thread is a little thick but not too bad.
