I find using crimps easier and more sturdy than tying fishing knots on anything heavier that 20 lb mono or flouro line. You can set up your tools in front of the TV and get a ton of cheap leaders made during the course of a movie.I initially bought one of the large red-handled crimpers, but those don't have a slot for super small crimp sleeves and you also have to crimp twice on each crimp to cover the full width. They are large and unwieldy to deal with, especially since the area you're focusing on is so small. These little crimpers are SO much better. They have a groove that fits even the tiniest crimp sleeves and pinches it into a sturdy crimp. They cover the full width of a standard crimp, so you only have to punch once. Most importantly, they're as easy to handle as a set of pliers. Highly recommend!

The kit is nice and the crimpers work great, There’s a lot of crimps but they are not marked with sizes which would be nice to pick the crimp for your wire or fishing line.

Made a few Red drum rigs for my resent trip to the outerbanks and they worked great with no slipped crimps.Going to make a bunch more for the next trip.

Despite the seller's description, this cripper works for both single and double barrel crimps. The cripper is suited for crimp sizes less than #8, so up to about 60-80 lb mono/fluoro at most. I was able to easily re-rig at least 6 spreader/umbrella rigs with this kit.

Thsi crimper is very easy to use. I ordered a box of the metal clips in different sizes and made up a good supply of leaders, attached the lure and stored in baggie so all ready to cast upon arriving at the lake. Thanks.
