I have been using this particular style of journal since I got married in 1962. It is still the same "style". It is ideal for keeping track of expenses

Family budgeting is 80% behavior. 20% academics. Get this today and use it for your family monthly budgeting. Income at the top and all monthly expenses in the middle. Should equal 0 at the bottom.We bought this 150 page book for our non monthly expense tracking. Our monthly expense tracking is the 300 page.Analog budgeting has many many positives. Very handy to flip back a year to see what you spent on Christmas, back to school or a birthday last year. It's simple! Both parties can use it. Not buried in some spreadsheet on a computer in a dark room. Totally portable. Battery life does not apply. I could go on all day. The only close second is a yellow legal pad.

I bought this book at a local store in 1992 to keep a log of all of my phone calls. (Doing so has saved my bacon more times that I can count!)I am getting to the end of the pages on the original book, and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find the same analog-type. I looked, and there it was! The same book that I have come to rely on and love, so I immediately ordered it.It came quickly, and it is the exact same book as the one I purchased 26 years ago. I actually hugged it- we oldsters love our traditions and methods. They may be slow, but they are reliable and don't need an electrical outlet to operate.If you are like me, and prefer the tried and true to the modern and flashy, this is the book for you. Use it for notes, a phone log (as I do), plans, whatever. It has such a nice feel and look that I don't hide it on my desk.

Whatever pen I use does not bleed through the paper, since it’s good quality, and the heavy board cover means the journal stays intact for longer than I probably will 😊.

Almost did not order because the Laboratory Notebook, I really wanted, from same company was nothing like original.This was a pleasant surprise. Will last for years!!!!

It's so nice to see a product that doesn't fall apart after 6-months (or that isn't designed to fall apart). I love these record books. My last one was in use several times a week for over twelve years and when I ran out of pages, the first thing I did was look for another one just like it. They're high quality and they hold together well with bright, clean pages on which to write. Personally, I use the book to track monthly expenses, but you could use it any number of ways for home or business. It's definitely worth the money.
