Had an old pair of cowboy boots that I couldn’t wear - the boot would painfully press against the top of my foot. Put these in for about a week and I can wear the boots again!

Anyone who’s owned work boots before knows that the break in period is quite rough. The shoe stretcher expedited that process by helping the leather stretch quicker. I used this along with a spray I purchased

Seemed like light plastic, but strong enough to do the job. These have smaller pieces you can add to emphasize certain areas that need stretching. I used the largest pieces to open the area over my instep, but I had to use double-sided tape to put them where they were needed. Wet the boots with alcohol/water and leave overnight and in the morning they fit much better than they had before. They work!

These things aren’t really worth buying. They function like they’re supposed to, but they come with all these plastic pieces that are supposed to stretch the boot or shoe in a more pinpointed location. They don’t work. Without those in the mix, these don’t have any grip to them whatsoever so if you don’t get them in the right spot they’ll slip right out of the shoe when you tighten them down. The surface area for stretching is also very small.

Great Boot strechers at a fair price

These look liked they'd work but they don't. As you tighten them inside the boot they slide backwards towards the heel. You'd think they would have made these with small ridges to hold them in place against the material of the shoe to keep them in place. If I could these things would be returned. Not worth the money.

Perfect for what I needed

Had to use a wedge between the boot stretcher and the heel of the boot. If not it would slide back to the heel making the product useless.

They are reasonably priced. They would be good for shoes. They say they are made for boots but they don’t stretch the upper area. They do the lower boot great.

As said before, no instructions. I got this to try and stretch the instep in my boots to relive some pressure. The smaller pieces that it comes with have anchor points to hold it in certain places on the stretcher. The 2 larger ones that would be for the instep do not. They just slide around while you’re trying to tighten them into place until you give up on trying to use them at all.And then you crank the stretcher until it’s maxed out while trying to keeping the main unit from sliding out of place only to realize it’s completely maxed out and hardly putting any pressure on anywhere. It says up to men’s size 13? lol. No. I wear a 10.5 and it doesn’t work.2 stars because I’m too generous.
