good deal an product..cut out alot of the drone in cab when i was running flowmasters,,nice decent rumble at idle...an nothing too loud or obnoxious when u step on it but u know its there...perfect for me...

Great muffler for my Chevy 5.7 V8. As per the headline, absolutely no drone whatsoever throughout the entire power band. I could barely hear myself think between 40-70 mph with my prior setup (local generic muffler install.) Nice throaty tone, not too loud, and definitely not the muffled stock sound. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Borla to anyone given my experience!

This Borla muffler outshines my old Flowmaster on my 95 Chevy K1500 Silverado 350 engine. It is quieter than the flowmaster, however I think in time it will open up a little. In my first city/highway drive it actually seems to run smoother than before and maybe with crossed fingers a tad better mileage and power. Time will only tell! The sound is really nice and not annoying. This is our third Borla purchase as our first two are on our 73 C10 350 that has headers with 3†out to the dual Borlas and surprisingly it is much quieter than we thought. Sounds truly awesome. If you want more noise pick a different version but this style is great. They look so nice and our hopes is they last for many years to come. We have more Chevy trucks in the family that will be needing exhaust coming up and Borla will be our go to brand!

I purchased this for my 2013 Silverado 5.3L. I previously had a 4.8l Silverado with flowmaster. I researched and researched which exhaust to get because I wanted something that had good performance, sounded good, but wasn't onoxiously loud when cruising at freeway speeds. So I bought this muffler thinking it fit everything I wanted. It has great performance, good flow, and I've noticed a little bit increase in acceleration at the lower end. It sounds great at idle, and when you rev it. My complaint is that has A LOT of drone. This muffler is louder than my flomaster super 40's were when I'm doing 80mph. It's very deep and has a lot of drone, so much that it gets annoying after a while on the freeway. Doing 65-70, it's the perfect sound, loud enough to hear, but quiet enough to not get annoying on long trips. I will say that going uphill at any speed is very loud. It's louder at low RPMs, at about 2k it's very deep and a lot of drone. I don't know how it sounds from the outside, but there's not a very distinct noise on the inside, and a very deep grumble. I have no issues with its construction, seems to be well built and light construction. I have the exhaust running out the rear and it is not dumped. I like loud cars, I just didn't expect this car to be as loud or have nearly as much drone. I wouldn't buy this if you want a quieter muffler, go with the touring or something.

I like the tone. It seems to sound better the more I drive like it's seating itself. Price was good. People I talk to say borla cost a lot. Some of their stuff does. This muffler was reasonably priced. I only needed one muffler though. Magnaflow was a little more than the borla. My old muffler was a magnaflow. It lasted around 9 or 10 years. I got my pickup in 2005 and changed the muffler in April 2019. The old muffler had holes in it for a few years before I changed it. I wanted the same sound as the magnaflow or close when it was new. It has a mellow tone which I wanted. I'm pleased.

I changed from a flowmaster to the borla because of the drone in my truck. It was horrible. The borla made a huge difference.

The mufler looks well build, i was a bit nervous thinking it will be too loud but it exeeded all my expectation, the note is suddle yet throatty out side, not abnoctious at all, inside the vehicle sounds very refined and comfortable. At low rpm is bearly noticable till its pushed harder. 5.3 V8 chevy...Overall i am very satisfied with the purchase.

Para quien disfruta de un sonido grave pero nada escandaloso es una excelente opción. Reduce en tuberÃa directa más menos un 40% del ruido y queda muy bien.
