I use this for my sourdough starter. Its so easy to work with. The sides on the inside are nices and smooth and easy to scrape clean. I love that the lid detaches easily to make it even easier to work with. Its durable so far. I ended up ordering two more for future sourdough starters and needing to transfer them to do a thorough clean. I love that you can use it with or without the rubber sealing ring. If you need it airtight the sealing ring is easy to slip on. For me I let my starter breath a little so I use the lid without the ring. Overall Its a great product

Was pleased with this jar to make and keep my sourdough starter. Bought 2 so I can transfer the starter into a clean jar when the jar gets a little crusty. Highly recommend! MADE IN ITALY-Not China! Another BIG plus.

Love this jar I bought second one. I personally use it for my sourdough starter. It was a great price and keeps things fresh. It’s the perfect size and the quality was great. It keeps a good seal so the refrigerator doesn’t smell from the sour dough starter.

It fulfills my purpose. I bought it to keep my sourdough starter in and it is the perfect size. The only thing I don’t love is the band that helps seal it. When I have that on it is somewhat difficult to close but not so much that I’m looking for something else.

This italian glass canning jar is just as beautifully made as I hoped. I will enjoy using it to gift some homemade soup to special people. It has a tight seal and doesn't leak.
