This is literally a life-saving product worth every penny my son takes longer naps sleeps in later in the mornings and is contained. We went with a slow and easy approach for transitioning to the zip and tent. We have had no problems. He absolutely loves it. He’s 27 months old been using it for approximately four months, look forward to many more months of using this until we are ready to transition him to a twin bed !

I have another play yard blackout tent that I swear by and have for years, but my gripe about it is that you need so much room to extend the tent poles to set it up. So I was looking for something like this that is ample size but can pop open and be closed easily specifically for traveling in our RV or other places where its cramped. This tent is a great size and it definitely opens up very easily. Setting up our pack and play inside it (it has a closed bottom so there's no slipping the tent over your PnP, you have to actually set the PnP up inside this tent) was a little tricky but not too bad. My only real issue is trying to get it folded back up. There are "instructions" on how to do it which leave a lot to be desired. They helped me absolutely zero. After quite a while I did manage to get it small enough and circular enough to fit back into the case, but frankly I'm a little worried the wire structure might get warped if stored like that for an extended period. I might try to store it flat but untwirled and just pack it up before trips. But it gets the job done for sure. We used it tent camping in very chilly overnight temps and my 18-month old was snug as a bug in there.

The Blackout Tent for Full Size Cribs (ASIN: B0DHZ9FTBV) was crazy easy to set up. Just remove it from the cover and the tent springs to life. (Instructions were included guiding one how to refold the tent to get it in the storage bag.) After removing the mattress from the crib, the expanded tent bottom was placed on the mattress support and the mattress was then placed back in place, but within the tent. I did it all solo and it all fit together very well. I then tied the tent to the crib at two locations on each of the four corners. With the crib mattress at the highest position, as shown in the photos, the higher ties of the tent were a bit shorter that I would have liked, but I was able to make them work. Once we lower the mattress within the crib in a few months that will no longer be an issue.At one end of the tent up high is the mesh net. The transparent pocket for the camera of the baby monitor is located up high at the other end. Access to the tent is in two layers; the blackout material and the netting. Both are nice and wide and have double zippers to open and close. When needed open, both layers can be tossed up onto the top for a brief period, or both can be quickly secured open.I found the Blackout Tent to be of good quality, well built, and effective at presenting a conducive environment for infant sleep.

This is a godsend when traveling it keeps our nap routine in check. And provides a nice dark sleep environment no matter what hotel we stay at. All keeps baby distraction free when trying to fall asleep. Functions as described great size fits many different style cribs. Good value.

I’m conflicted over this item. The idea is great. However. I was looking for more of a pop up tent type idea. The slumberpods that another brand sells stands on its own. This you have to tie to a crib, so if you’re traveling you have to make sure they have a crib. The build quality is nice. The design works as intended. Maybe it’s just not for us. But I can see it working great if you have a bright room that you don’t have black out curtains for.

First I like the idea to use it in the room for the crib when it is super bright and extremely bright light would really bother baby eyes, this tent needs to be tight to the crib, there is no way that it can stands on its own without being attached, doesn’t have any strong smells at all which is good, it doesn’t fold easy to put it back in the extra storage bag, it does the functionality that is blackout baby crib, also it is huge so baby won’t feel trapped in there as it has the huge whole opening to take baby in and out, I would say value for money is a bit high, knowing the setting up time and stuffs.

I ordered this for my newest granddaughter. My son and daughter in law really wanted to use it to help her take better and longer naps.They are not happy with it at all. It may be listed as being made for a crib but there’s no way it will work with the crib. It has one opening to take baby in and out that one is supposed to put the crib in. It’s literally not possible. A portable playpen would probably fit in it as it will be expanded inside the tent. The instructions to put it away for storage are terrible, neither parent could figure it out. They were so I flustered by it, they said they wanted to burn it.
