Hard to find. It works great after some practice... very rugged structure.

This fence mounts on my Bosch planer and belt sander. It is very useful when trying to maintain a consistent angle, whether it be a 90 degree door edge or a bevelled window sash. It's also useful when using the belt sander upside down as a small table sander for small pieces. The only downside is that the mounting handle can become separated and lost. I generally blue-tape it to the fence when not in use.

If for some reason you got a Bosch planer without this accessory, here's what you should know...It works, but it works MUCH better when you attach an auxiliary wooden platen to the 90-degree face.Look at the picture. See that little hole on the bottom part? There are two of those holes on that plate so you can attach your platen. I make platens from half-inch plywood or MDF... whatever scraps are around. I make the front protrude several inches ahead of the planer to get good registration before the blade touches wood. Of course you must countersink for screws so they don't interfere or mar the work-surface. It's a good idea to sand the leading edge of your platen so it doesn't catch on anything as you move forward. But other than that, there isn't much to this thing and adding your platen isn't hard.Once you have your platen installed, the star knobs make adjustments easy and fast. Can you use it as-is? Yes, but it feels dodgy to me. The side-face is not large enough to register positively to the workpiece. This may be psychological, but I feel like the raw metal transmits vibrations to my hand, and that interferes with my ability to feel how the tool is applied to the work. When the wooden platen is there, it seems to absorb and dampen that vibration so I get a better sense of how the tool is registered. Of course having a larger platen is reassuring, but I swear it helps me feel what's going on and do a better job without mistakes. The reason I rated it only three stars is not because it is bad. It just isn't very good and needs a little customization to work properly. For what it costs, I think they should deliver it ready to go.BTW... In case you did not already know, you can also make other platens at different angles. A 45-degree platen is particularly useful for chamfering edges. If you ever make swing-sets, monkey-bars & other playground units from 4x4 lumber, you will want a planer that can quickly chamfer all the edges. I've tried belt sanders before. Generally, they don't work very well for neat chamfers.A power planer makes the job MUCH faster and leaves a neater-looking result. The same advice holds for large scale projects like railings, handicap accessible ramps, docks, decks, fences, etc.So, if you plan any of those types of projects with your Bosch planer, get this and install your own custom platens. Then it's worth it. It saves you time and delivers nice results.Otherwise, don't bother. This device will not replace a jointer or even a decent router for jointing and chamfering. A big strong router with a half-inch collet and carbide bit will chamfer edges about as fast as a planer. One last note... If you have a newer model planer, it might already have the chamfering groove down the center, in which case you do not need this thing for chamfering. My older planer does not have that groove. My new Bosch and Festool planers do. Just look at your planer and see. It might save you some money if you find you don't need this. I have even seen some other less expensive brands of planers with that groove nowadays.Hope that helps you make a wise decision and do good work!

This fits perfect onto the cordless planer giving a nice square fence. It’s bigger than I thought and for me was a good thing.
