No longer asking the dealer to change out cabin filter! Shouldn't have let it go as long as I did!I could have bought my entire life supply with what I have spent over the years paying for overpriced filter plus labor of 15 minutes minimum when it barely takes 15 minutes and more like 5 minutes to: retrieve the package from the stoop, unwrap the package while walking over to car, open passenger door, sit down, pull out the lower glove box, unclip the filter holder, pull out the old filter, unbox and install the new filter, put old filter in the box, put lower glove box back in, get out, lock car and throw the box/filter in trash before going back inside.Easy install!! Noticeable better air flow and better particulate filtration.

Look online for how to change out the cabin filter, videos and write ups are easily found. Take your time, have a small vacuum ready, maybe have some wet wipes handy too. Open up the access to the filter compartment, clean things out. Take a picture with your phone and when you remove the old filter, pay attention to how it's installed. Most filters are directional and have arrows showing which way the air flows. Carefully open the new filter package, note the air flow arrows, and install it. Close things up and enjoy the clean cabin air once again!

Excellent quality cabin air filter…extremely inexpensive compared to local auto parts stores. Very happy with the quality, durability and price.

This doesn't fit precisely into place. You can see in the photo that the pleats just end with no frame on the sides to seal to the body of the housing. You can wiggle the end pleat into place but there's nothing holding it there so I don't know how long it will stay there. Not a big deal for me, but if you live on a dirt road, there could be enough air bypassing the filter that you may get a dusty car sooner. Price was fine, but I won't buy this filter again.

Toyota dealer quoted $95 to change the cabin air filter on 2008 Toyota Solara. This filter was about $15. Perfect fit. Changing it us a bit tricky. The only tool needed is a Phillip screwdriver, but you have to remove the glove box to get to the filter.

The filter does an incredible job. I've had it in for about 4000 miles so far and it truly blocks out odors. Fits perfectly in my 2007 4runner factory housing and replacing the old one took less than 5 minutes. Be aware however, that this filter considerably decreases flow. I now have to use the "max" or "4" setting pretty often.

I was surprised, shocked really, how bad the cabin filter had gotten in such a short period of time. The old unit had not only accumulated a lot of dust, but there was clear evidence of pollen and beginnings of mold.I replace these every 5-6,000 miles but after this will have to check more frequently, especially with allergies in the family.

me gusto que este filtro es bastante grueso, si, afecta flujo de aire, obvio, porque su filtracion es buena. creo que podrian mejorarlo poniendo una capa da carbon activado o sodio para quitar olores desagradables de trailers o diesel.
