Precisely sized - exactly 23/32. Sharp - cuts perfectly squared dados cross-grain without leaving ragged edges and there is little strain on the router motor. On good quality 3/4 plywood, it creates a perfect fit.

It worked as advertised. I used it to cut dados in "3/4" birch plywood. I can't rate its longevity since I've cut only ten dados. The dados came out very well, with a just snug fit with no gaps. Wish I Had bought a bit like this years ago.

This router bit is supposed to cut a dado, or a rabbet to exact thickness of a 3/4" sheet of plywood. The first few passes were great, got a nice tight fit. Then gradually, but quickly, the once tight fit was to the point of impossible. Now I have to make two passes at two different widths to fit the plywood. I can only surmise that the bit is wearing out, after a reasonably short time. I'd have been better off getting a couple of those cheap ones at Wal-Mart. Very disappointed.

I purchased this bit when building a cabinet project that required dado's for 3/4 inch plywood. since plywood went metric the standard 3/4 router bit made a loose fit for the shelving . This one is 23/32 " and is a perfect fit and a good quality carbide bit .

We used this router bit to cut 3/4 into a MDF board for an LED strip installation. The bit fit nicely into our Makita handheld router and the outcome was clean and precise!

Cut effortlessly but the dado was slightly larger than the 3/4 inch plywood which may possibly be because I was cutting imported shop-grade birch.

This made quick work of cutting 3/4 inch dado easy. It cut clean cuts for every dado I needed to make. It was a little more expensive than some of the other router bits listed but in my opinion worth every penny I paid.
