I did bosch quiet cast pads and rotors on the front of my '07 Acura MDX in an afternoon. It was only my second time doing brakes, but it was super simple. maybe, like 3 hours including jacking and tool prep. I had warped rotors from towing my boat around a couple summers, which manifested as pulsating braking at extreme stops. i didn't have any low pad noise alerts, but why risk any issues with your brakes. I researched and bought the best premium brand and oem setup. I didn't want to experiment with ceramics or slotted/drilled sporting setups, since i wanted longevity and reliability. after 2 weeks I can say these are so smooth and quiet, couldn't be happier. I wish the kit had come with the springs/pad spreaders, but i just reused the originals. i like that it came with the grease. I'm happy to pay for premium parts when saving huge money on diy install.

Pads were good. They don’t have the spreader clips but apparently they aren’t needed and am not hearing any weird noises. So far so good with about 2 miles of driving.

Installed on a 2014 Honda Pilot. Break pads work well and are easy to install. Noise level is low. Only issue I have is that the retaining clips were either incorrect or made incorrectly because the would not fit with the break pads...I would have exchanged these, but I had already removed the wheels and took the break calipers off when I realized the clips wouldn't fit. I had to use the old clips (not recommended) to get the pads to fit. Make sure the clips fit the pads before attempting to install!

These pads need clips that help keep them away from the rotor when the brake is not engaged, they even have the proper holes for them, but this kit does not include them, so you either buy a hardware kit that has these clips along with the other pieces you don't need, or you buy another set of break pads that do include the clips, try AC Delco.

First one that was delivered the package was damaged with parts outside the box. Ordered a replacement for it and it also came with the same problem of open package.
