The quick change extensions are too bulky to pass through smaller holes. We primary use â…ž" bits and this fits no problem

As an electrician I was hopeful for this extension I can say that as an electrician the standard size use as an auger bit is 7/8. So when the head of this extension is 7/8 it defeats the purpose of the extension if the head of the extension barely fit through the hole. As I see it this is a major fault in the planning of this extension so yes it will go through but truly make me question the how long it will last. As a thought if you just made a 12" auger they would sell like hot cakes.

This product was by far superior to several others I tried. It worked perfectly. When using a Hole Hawk, Others ended up twisting causing out of balance. Highly recommend this tool!
