Works great bright beam. Can be used to set at an angle on a tripod. The beam blinks instead of being steady but it works. Great for all projects you need a level.

The green color makes it easier to find the laser on bright conditions. Tripod and magnetic support helps you a lot to position the device. I get a good deal while on discount so it was totally worth it.

I wish the vertical line stayed on when you tilt the laser over. May be due to the auto leveling but anything over 15 degrees of angle it makes the laser lines flash

I thought this would be an upgrade but it's not nearly as useful as my old GLL2-45 red line laser. This one is brighter in the middle and the line is crisper, but the horizontal line visibility drops off quickly as you move to the side and doesn't wrap around the room nearly as effectively. The vertical angle is worse on this too.I re-posted another viewers photo here showing what I mean - my red laser will wrap around all 3 sides of a shower.

So, I snagged the Bosch GLL40-20G Green-Beam Cross-Line Laser, and guys, it's a game-changer! The green laser lines are like, whoa, 2X brighter than the regular red ones. Perfect for my not-so-bright workspace!I'm no pro, but this laser's got a 40-foot range and nails accuracy at 30 feet. It's like having a little laser genius in my toolkit. And get this, it's got some fancy VisiMax thing that saves energy and keeps it going strong. No clue how it works, but it's cool.The Smart Pendulum System does its magic, making sure I'm always on the level (literally). Plus, the MM 2 Mounting Thingy is like my laser sidekick – easy setup on any surface. From hanging pics to DIY projects, it's got my back.Tossed it in the pouch, and boom, I'm ready to roll. Safety first, though – Class II laser and all that. Bottom line: Bosch GLL40-20G is my new DIY bestie. Precision and power without the confusing stuff. Totally recommend it for fellow weekend warriors!

I used the level for aligning multiple shelves that I was putting up. It was helpful to not only have the horizontal level but also the vertical level. The vertical level helped to keep the project perfectly aligned.This is a self leveling level. There is a gymbol inside and it is quite sensitive to any movement. It is important to have a solid tripod to work with. Mine was a bit shaky but it did the job for me once everything settled down.The green laser was easily read. I used it on a sunny day in our living room and had no problems with it. The laser was positioned about 12ft away from the working area.
