This 18V cordless jig saw is optimized for curve cuts, even through thicker material. The Bosch GST18V-60BC 18V Barrel-Grip Jig Saw features a brushless motor that delivers corded performance, with 0 to 3,800 strokes per minute speed. This barrel-grip jig saw provides an easy-to-reach pulse-activated double-sided switch to accommodate working with either the left or right hand. It features an adjustable blade guide/channel, which minimizes blade deflection while performing straight or curve cuts. The jig saw has four pendulum stages, to shift from fast cutting to cleaner cuts. Connecting to the jig saw allows user to pre-select speeds, turn the light on and off, and provide information on drop control events via Bosch Toolbox App. This jig saw features an adaptive speed-control setting, which will dial down the strokes per minute to control the entry point of the blade and the workpiece. Once the saw blade touches the workpiece, the jig saw will resume the selected speed, to provide the best control and precision. This jig saw also features a blower that can be switched on and off. The jig saw is compatible with guide rail and circle adapter. The jig saw has extended upfront soft-grip areas and a small barrel-grip circumference for greater tool control. The cut lines stay visible due to the dust blower and LED light. The jig saw features a tool-free T-shank blade-change system. The large die-cast aluminum footplate with no-mar plastic overshoe to help prevent damage to the workpiece.

Top notch. Blade install is simple, speed adjustable with the touch of a button. When arrives you’ll see the large handled barrel grip. Easy to control, no wild rums or jumping. Only downside (if that) is the crappy cheap attempt at a clear plastic cover around the blade. It’s terrible, I see the need for it but it’s snaps on/off every use. It’s a pain

Had the teal brand saw, newest barrell grip version, and this is better in almost every way. Also less expensive. I have used the bayonet 548, and restore tools as a hobby. I may have had every jigsaw ever made..and this is the pinnacle. The reason I chose the non bevel version is because of the top speed of 3800. It is the fastest on the market. 3500 is the average, and it's just barely too slow. This unit has the power to back it up. Put on a 4ah or 8ah and you can go for ever. The other big selling point is the auto speed shifting...you set it on your phone, and when you start the saw, it's slow, to get your cut started, then it senses the pressure, and goes -automatically - to full speed!!!!! Wow amazing! And it's fully adjustable in the app. This is futuristic to a fella like me. Thank you Bosch

This is a premium tool. It feels really well made in the hand and produces such a clean cut. The quick blade release system is easy to engage and disengage. And despite my misgivings the auto mode works a treat. Highly recommended.

I have had the same style of corded saw for years and love it. This is even better because I can take it more places.

Bosch is living off their name... Yes they are still the best hammer drills but this is junk and back she went

I love Bosch tools, my issues with the design of this tool is the blade is so far underneath the unit it’s hard to see your line. The power switch is also a little on the dangerous and inconvenient side, because it requires two hands to shut off.

I bought this for outside work, but it’s actually nicer than my carvex and uk made makita. Seriously impressed with this jigsaw. Rotating dust boom is genius, blade clamp for square cutting is so much more easier than festool. The weight on the tool is impressive, solid! Made in Hungry. Blower is very strong as well, love the electronic controls and switch placement is ergonomic. Glad I went outside my usual battery platforms!
