This is a heavy duty miter saw stand using thick extruded aluminum for the main support and extension arms. One leg has an adjustable foot on it to allow for an uneven surface. The extension wings extend out 47" in both directions and support the wood without any deflection. At the end of the extensions there are stops that allow for repeated cuts at the length you chose. The stops easily engage and disengage. If you plan to take this to a job site it has a handle attached on its underside for carrying it or two wheels on one side that allow you to roll it. The two mounts that couple the stand to your saw allow for a quick release from the stand and can be mounted anywhere on the stand's surface.

For years I would set my 10 inch miter saw in the ground and make cuts as needed. When I purchased a new 12 inch saw, I also decided to do my back a favor and get a stand. I decided on the 3800 over the dewalt since the dewalt did not have material rollers any longer or wheels. This stand has been great. It is very well built and I had no issues with damage from shipping that a few others reported. The only negative I have noticed is with the amount of force needed to slide the saw to the end of the stand. After you fold the first set if legs and lower to the ground, when you lift the stand to fold the second set with the saw still in the middle of the stand you have to be careful it doesn't topple. This doesn't happen if you move the saw to the end of the stand, but sometimes sliding it back and forth takes a lot more force than other times. Still I gave it 5 stars and am so glad I bought it.

I'm a DIYer. I use the Bosch stand (and compound miter saw) for mostly hardwood flooring, moldings, trims and a little bit of carpentry work (such as building simple work tables and benches...).Pros: The stand provides my 12" Bosch miter saw with a very stable work surface. The stand extensions and stops also allow me to easily set up for repetitive cuts with long pieces of wood.Cons: Because of the length and weight of the stand, it is a little hard to move the whole thing (stand + saw) around. You would have to push the whole unit on the 2 wheels. To use the wheels, the 2 legs next to them (as shown in the picture) have to be folded up; this takes a bit of effort as the whole unit is quite heavy. This is a good stand overall and I'm happy with it. If you have the extra $, check out the Bosch T4B Gravity-Rise Miter Saw Stand.

Shockingly, I bought this to replace the universally top-rated Bosch T4B “gravity base” miter saw stand that I was using with my Bosch 4310 sliding 10” miter saw.I must be the only person in the world that isn’t fond of the T4B!; I have a very old Delta “Kickstand” with an Hitachi chop-saw on it, which I use on-site. The Kickstand was one of the first wheeled, collapsible miter stands, has gigantic wheels, and it still works great after a couple of decades. The T4B is just too bulky and difficult to load into a 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup. I tried using it in my shop, but it has a relatively massive footprint, and you can’t store anything under it.The GTA3800 uses the same main beam extrusion and saw mounts as the T4B; in fact, I dismounted my 4310 from the T4B and just clamped in on the GTA 3800.The extendible lumber supports are interchangeable; the photo shows a GTA3800 support mounted on the T4B. For commercial work, the GTA3800 roller supports are probably preferable. The longer main beam allows for longer extension arms, if that’s an issue for you.I suspect that Bosch put small wheels w/ a narrow track on the GTA 3800 so that it didn’t scavenge sales from the T4B. I’m actually contemplating making a bracket for large cheap Harbor Freight wheels; if the GTA3800 had that feature, I believe it would be as good as the ancient Delta Kicksaw for site work. For shop use, the GTA3800 is clearly superior. For site work, the T4B is super-slick, provided that you can get it into your truck/van/trailer.If you’re clever with metal fabrication, I’d seriously consider the GTA3800 with honkin’ big, wide track wheels.

This stand is solid! The legs might look a bit flimsy but once you unpack it, you realize that it is a very high-quality stand. The setup is very straightforward, and all you might need is a 10mm socket to help install the rollers and the wheel assembly. One of the legs can be adjusted to make sure that the stand does not wobble. Finally, the tool mount is included, so that you can secure your miter saw. I have a 12" Bosch miter saw and it works perfectly. The only minor complain is that sliding the saw once it's installed is not very smooth (but I don't believe you will be doing this very much). Overall, I'm very happy with this stand.

Bosch products always been great quality and this one is for professionals Only .this thing weighs a ton. If you are a homeowner, you’re not going to like this. It’s very hard to move around due to the weight.

I really like this stand. Its design allows me to make good use of the limited space in my small shop. The included wheel set will allow me to transport the stand with or without the saw still in place if/when needed. I did not realize it had wheels when I purchased it. The stand was easy to assemble; is sturdy and stable; and looks like it will be a great addition to my shop.

After looking through the reviews, I was worried about ordering. The stand seemed very well made but was delivered frequently damaged during shipment. I was very impressed with my Bosch mitre saw so I decided to take a chance on the stand. I am very glad I did. Although heavy, it is extremely well built. I have my Bosch mitre saw mounted on it and definitely both tools are professional grade. It was delivered by Canada Post - zero issues, thanks Canada Post. I would definitely recommend.

The roller things are the best. The extending arms are square so it more sturdy than the circular ones.Folding it is kinda awkward but that's just because it is big.The wheeles on it stand suck. I wish they were bigger. I'll probably change the wheels out for larger ones. All in all this is the best saw stand imo

I was searching for this particular model for a while. It’s the best of the Bosch Models made and compliments my GSM12SD Axial Compound Miter Saw very well. It seems not very many available but finally found one on Amazon. I’m glad I kept searching this model is very sturdy and well engineered as most of the Bosch line is. Always wish these types of equipment would handle Longer pieces but thats my unrealistic side showing. It has great stops on both ends as well as Very tough well designed rollers. Blows DEWALT, Makita and Metabo out of the water. Period!

Ce support est difficile à déplacer avec ses petites roulettes qui font souvent perdre l'équilibre de la scie. J'aurais dû acheter le Bosch Gravity Rise Rolling Mitre pour 120 $ de plus.
