I had accidently kicked the valve that came on the Rubbermaid rain barrel, and was not sure where to go to replace it as they don't offer such. I saw that someone else had bought these for a replacement (Not sure what brand they had) and they had mentioned they were better made than the original. This is true for what I have as well. If you need a hose bib and want plastic - these work exceptionally well.

We rent our home, which came with two great water barrels, but after a year and half of residence, the original plastic spigot handles gave out and broke. I could not find a replacement in Lowe's, Sears, Wal-mart, etc, even with help, so I took a chance on ordering these. They fit perfectlt, were oh so easy to install, and work so much better than the original spigots!

This spigot is much better than the original one I purchased at a local hardware store. It was easy to install and doesn't leak at all. I will be purchasing a second one for my other rain barrel. Great product!

I bought it to replace my broken spigot for Fiskars rain barrel. It fit perfectly and was very easy to change - unscrew old one and screw-in a new one.

They really need more details. It was not 3/4" as 2 people said. It is 1" where it screws into the barrel. It's 3/4" at the down spout & there is a 1/2" screw on adapter for the spout.

I admit it. I fell for the oldest trick in the book. The tap was advertised as "universal", however it was only "universal" if the hole in your barrel is 3/4" diameter. The hole in mine is only 1/2" therefore the tap is worthless to me. Including an adapter or clearly stating the size of the tap would be of enormous value.

The first thing I must state is that the product I received wasn't the product that I ordered. The second thing I'll state is thank you!My waterbutt recently fell over in high winds while empty, damaging the tap that came with it. It was surprisingly difficult to get hold of a replacement as in the run up to Christmas all of the local suspects had replaced gardening stuff with Christmas tat. I had a quick look on Amazon and found this product as a decent enough replacement. Cheap and cheerful. I'd noticed some reviewers had said the product wasn't what they'd expected but were quite happy anyway. I took a gamble.When the product arrived the following day I was very surprised by what I took out of the packaging. It was not the generic cheap plastic butterfly valve I expected, but a much more substantial tap and fitting. The whole product feels chunky and unlikely to break. It fitted to my waterbutt without the included adapter, and has been watertight. The nozzle of the tap has a screw attachment that will accept the white tap adapter common with hozelock products, allowing you to fit a snap-on hozelock adapter. There's also a removable adapter for the nozzle to fix a hose pipe directly to the tap. I should point out that although you can attach a hose pipe, you won't get much of a flow out of a waterbutt that is merely gravity fed. You'd need an additional pump.So, while the product I received is not what was advertised, I'm very happy with the product I received. As such, my review is only based on what I received and not what is currently described in the advert.Â

Endlich mal ein stabiler Hahn der nach dem Sommer nicht kaputt geht weil von den 0815 Plastehähnen der Weichmacher weg ist und sie einfach kaputt gehen. Preis Leistung in Ordnung und kann man gern weiter empfehlen.

Dieser Hahn war ein totaler Fehlkauf. Nach nicht mal einem Jahr waren die Dichtungen kaputt. somit ist der Hahn unbrauchbar
