Longest lasting tie out I’ve ever used. Used for a 110 lb dog daily. Lasts close to a year before needed to replace. Plastic coating doesn’t crack like some others do

Works for my 75 pound dog but only issue is plastic comes off fairly easily if kinked, i.e. in a screen door, the metal then eventually rusts and breaks. This is my second one of these, as I can't find anything strong and better.

As a rescue who does a lot of outreach, we needed a strong, durable, thick tie out that didn’t get tangled easily, didn’t break easily, was easy to use while holding up to strong dogs. While these are on the higher end of the spectrum for the outs, the heavy weight and ease of use makes it work the money spent on them. Of the tie outs we tried these are the hardest to break, hold up the best, resist tangles and the clasps are the hardest to break we’ve found. The value is worth the cost. We will continue to use these and recommend them to owners with strong dogs.

Only used it for a month and it’s already broken.

Absolutely perfect! This tie out keeps my big boy secure and is long enough for him to explore the whole backyard and also to come around to the front and watch my daughter get on and off the bus without being in the bus drivers way. I love the outward opening clasps, very sturdy and super simple to open with one hand!

I have a 100+ pound Pitt/boxer mix that is incredibly strong and dog and cat reactive. I don’t have a fenced in yard (live in a duplex), so having a tether I can trust is imperative. This is the second one I bought. The first one lasted over 3 years and was still working, but saw some fraying on the plastic, so bought a new one just to be safe. It’s working great.

When we first got the 2 -40 foot Beast tie outs. We ordered a week ago. That came in perfect quick time delivery. We had to wait for the snow to melt to switch them out from our much thinner junky tie outs. Always get them through Pet Smart every 6 or 8 months. That have been a nightmare ever since we got them. They knotted up bad, only useable for 5 of the months at time, when they are so tight. You have to be hercules to undo the knots on them. Twice as hard if you have Winter. The colder the old tie outs got. The worse they got. Useless for 2 active sheppard size dogs. Then we found these amazing tie out for larger dogs. Every time we put out our 2 rescues, Husky and Mexican Street dog. We are content we will be able to call them or in our case ring the bells hanging off the door they go in and out of. Super easy training just ring the bells you have hanging off the door handle. To come down stairs to go out. Or from anywhere in your house. Just don't train on yelling their name to go out at same time, on bell training. If they are on these great Beast tie outs they can reach the door with out knots. The only down fall on these ones called Beast is I don't recommend anyone with arthritis in hands to get the Beast Tie Outs like myself. Even though this pull down clip is perfect for escape artists. Not so good for folks with hand ailments. Hard to hold onto dog's collar, steel ring and the pull down clip on the lead at same time. I mastered it with my arthritis in a week. Pull down clip, put finger in the space. Then put it on your dogs leather collar. Only use real leather for collars and walking leads. Weak collars will not keep your dogs from running away or hurt. When they break through them. We also recommend never using a snap back lead for walking any dog. Dangerous for dog and humans. Getting the lead attached around your ankles plus hurting your dog. Plus the dog is walking you. Leather on leather for us collar and walking lead. Never wears out:) Good luck it has taken us 26 years to find a real good tie out for our fur children.

So far this has been a great leash for outside. Sturdy. However be careful if dog is running. Leg with a nice bruise can come if cord is struck against leg! Lol

Overall this lead is great quality, however the clasp to open and close is extremely difficult because it opens from the inside out. Getting it to open takes two hands and a well behaved dog.
