The sharpener itself works well. It does have that classic issue where if the pencil is torqued even a little but off-center the grind will be too, so you can end up with the sharpened point being made of wood instead of graphite if you're not careful. But oh well, that's just how you use a single-cutter sharpener. It's fine for the price.I haven't used the suction mount and can't speak to that. For the more permanent mount, I'll say that the system can work just fine, but the screws it comes with are EXTREMELY soft and will strip out quite easily. You'll want to make sure to pre-drill holes that are big enough for them to go in without much resistance.

The suction mount is a pain, but workable. The sharpener has only one cutting tool which makes it slower and it exhibits a tendency to point off center.

It does not stay anchored to the table. You are supposed to be able to rotate the lever on the bottom to make it stay on a surface and it only stays for a few seconds while sharpening. The concept is great, but the execution, not so much.

I used an older version of this at a relative’s home and bought my own. It gets pencils extra sharp and so far no leakage of pencil shavings. I like the fact that it is portable and can go with me wherever I set up my remote office.

This thing brings back memories of elementary school. It works great - sharpens my pencils to an almost deadly point. I didn't try to hard-mount it as I use this at work and thought people might get annoyed if I go putting holes in my walls. I got it to suction very securely after a few trial-and-error moments (it would just pop off on its own at first) by wiping down my desk with an alcohol swab (the kind you get from BBQ joints to wash your hands with), then, while my desk was still wet from the alcohol, pushing down on the top of the sharpener while turning the lever to make it stick. It's been on for a week now with no signs of coming off so my guess is its on there good now.

Excellent sharpener must be on smooth surface for suction to work properly. Textured countertop did not hold well. When used on smoother surface held well. Sharpens pencils to a fine point. Reminds me of the old school sharpeners. Very pleased with purchase

Il contenitore della tempera cade, non si fissa bene, e poi sono 2 pezzi separati. è arrivato con la manovella arrugginita. Ho provato a temperare la matita nemmeno quello riesce a fare per bene.

Es un buen producto en relacion precio - calidad. Este funciona muy bien, el unico detalle es que la ventosa se suelta de las superficies con el tiempo.
