I use colored pencils on a few different projects and have been frustrated with the poor job my pencil sharpener was doing. Finally, I decided to try a new sharpener and this one is awesome. Nice size and weight and works like a charm. Doesn't leave any rough edges and sharpens clean and to the point every time. Just plugged in the cord and I was ready to go. I just sat and sharpened my whole stash. Would definitely recommend.

This sharpener is fast, and effective. It has a slim body that does not take up lots of space. No pencils are being chewed up and waisted.Much better than the battery ones.Highly recommend we have 2 one for home and office

My pencil sharpeners have needed replacing for years and this Bostitch model has all the features I need at a reasonable price. I tried sharpening several of my dull or broken points and some new #2 pencils and it performed well. Then I tried sharpening a watercolor pencil and the point broke off and is stuck inside. After that it did not make as good a point.

First day in operation and I am pleased to sharpen pencils. It’s a delight to see how quickly and sharp the pencils are! I even saw one student sharpen a pencil before use and, get this, after use. Talk about helping students to sharpen their civil skills.

I found the sharpening hole of this device quite easy because it is placed right in front of the small machine. I took my pencil and inserted it into that hole. It began grinding away. After a short time, I removed it and noticed the pencil now had a keen point. It appears to work as advertised, turning my slender wand crafted from a humble union of wood and graphite into a tool that was ready to transform blank pages into realms of imagination, allowing my thoughts to dance and ideas to take shape with every stroke until such time as I repeat the process with the ease I first experienced.

Our old pencil sharpener just stopped working one day so we ordered this one. I love that it's small enough to not get in the way, but also that it's much quieter than our old one. The color is cute too. We homeschool our kids, so we use this a LOT and it seems sturdy enough to hold up to constant use. Great buy

You cant move it around with you as It doesnt work unless it s plugged in so no moving it to the dining table while you work.Also its does a really lousy job of sharpening the pencilsI dont understand why this has got such a high review rate, Ive mucked about with it too long to return it, so its is going in the bin.
