I'm still baffled with how well this tool works. This design makes removing staples effortless and the magnet collects those staples so you can throw them out.In addition, the metal on this thing is freakishly strong and does not bend. I've used it to pry open stubborn electronic casings or to release metal lids, far more than I'd like to admit.For $5, this tool is a no brainer if you want a staple remover that's also a mini pry bar.

What a perfect design for a very simple tool! Removing staples from a wood floor is nobody's idea of fun; but I look forward to using this little tool every time. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

This is my favorite style of staple remover, so when I saw it had a magnet to catch the staples, I thought that would be really handy! Unfortunately, the magnet is not strong enough to hold the staples for any length of time, so they just fall off anyway. I'll still use it, it just would have been cool if the magnet worked.

I bought these because I was undergoing a huge paperwork digitizing project. We're talking thousands of documents from up to 20 years ago having to be scanned.That meant a lot of staples to be removed. This trusty tool got me through it - the design is absolutely ergonomic, despite using it for a high volume of staples, my hand did not get sore or tired.The staples stick to the magnet most of the time (not all) and when you get the hang of it you can move pretty quickly.Recommend!
