They install fairly easily on a flush surface. The ribs in the jar diffuse the light for a nice looking glow. I recommend clear bulbs to get that sparkly firefly-in-a-jar look. I've installed a couple of them now and they're both in protected areas not exposed to outside weather. I'm not sure how well they would do in damp environments or exposed to rain, but maybe with a little caulk they would do okay.

everything was as stated. looks great. Easy to install, no problems. The price was a steal for such a product.

You get what you pay forI installed this light fixture outside my home. It works as described, but I can't help notice how cheap it feels. The screws that hold up the glass feel cheap and don't look like high quality material. As long as you don't touch it much, I guess it will last about 5 years or so. We will see.Cheap price, cheap parts, made in China.

This product looks nice and seems pretty sturdy so it should be able to weather the elements for many years. The installation was easy and straight forward. I'd have given 5 stars but the glass is a tad bit shallow; I had intended on using 100W CFL bulbs but the glass was too short to fit those, so i had to go with 60W CFL's, but i'm sure regular bulbs would fit fine. If the glass was a half inch longer that would have been perfect.

Came with no screws for the bulb. Can you please mail me 2 screws for the bulb? Their smaller holes than typical and universal screws wwon't work.

I purchased a couple of these lamps, to sit atop my life-sized Tardis (yeah, I said Tardis!), figuring I could not lose at the price. Turns out, they are MUCH better quality than I expected, and most certainly worth the price. A little blue paint, and these things are gonna look really G O O D !

Just what I was looking for! I have others along front porch and needed one for an additional porch added to the side of house. Purchased the others a decade ago. I didn't think I would find it again. This one isn't exactly like the ones on the front, but certainly close enough that no one would ever notice. Also, it was at a great price! Thank you!
