This is a pretty heavy duty jack adapter. It should do the job if it fits your jack.This fits very loose on my 6 ton jack and won't fit my 20 ton jack. I could try to shim the opening for a tighter fit but I don't have the right size pipe. I'll probably make my own for the 20 ton.It's a great idea but they need to get the fit better or have adapter fittings.

I got this bottle jack adapter to use with my 12 ton bottle jack for lifting my truck under the frame or rear axle. The ID of the adapter is advertised as 1.65 inches and I measured 1.63 with calipers, so it would be a very tight fit over a 1 5/8 jack pad. My 12 ton jack has a 1 1/2 inch jack pad and it is loose fit. To use I extended the pad on the bottle jack just enough to slip up into and contact the bottom of the adapter. Extending the pad higher or lower then that allows the adapter to rock on the pad and is less stable. The adapter appears to be well constructed with a nice weld of the saddle to the adapter tube, and thick glossy black paint covering the entire part, although that will get scraped off with use.

Bottle Jack ExtensionThis is a very heavy-duty saddle adapter. You can see the measurements for size and thickness of the steel in the photos. It fits my 12 and 20-ton bottle jacks. However, on the 20 ton it will not slip over the entire cylinder. I have to screw out the lifting pad until it will touch the inside of the adapter. This does not affect or waste any lifting height because the cylinder would have had to be extended that far for it to fit anyway. I think the adapter is expensive for what it is. An improvement could be that the mounting ring were a lot larger for the larger bottle jacks. Then have some down sizing adapters to slip into the main ring for the smaller jacks.

A simple tool that works very well and I wish I had owned one sooner. It provides both safety and convenience. Extremely robust in construction and so very simple to use. It works on all of my bottle jacks. Inexpensive and quite a bargain.

Won't fit my 12 ton jack and it is loose on my 6 ton. I will end up modifying it to make it work. It is a tight 1 5/8" and will not fit my 1 5/8" jack shaft. The build quality is good. This is a very simple device and can easily be made. I don't think this is a good value for approximately $23.
