First off, this is not a quality hat, but I just love the look. IMO, it is the perfect amount of fabric falling to the sides and I like the look on my head. It's comfortable and I found the sizing to be spot on. It's cotton, light, and I plan to wear it everywhere this summer. It was dirt cheap, so I am sure the visor is made of carboard and would not withstand a washing machine so I will have to consider handwashing it like a quality hat, or just buying another. There is no inner lining or fancy padding. It's all one fabric but for the price and the look I was really surprised. If you go for it, I hope you like yours as much as I like mine. For once, the picture was exactly what it looked like on my head!

IT'S ADJUSTABLE WITH A RIBBON INSIDE THE BAND WITH A LITTLE VELCRO AT THE END. JUST DONT PULL IT TOO HARD OR IT WILL SLIP OUT , THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO FISH IT BACK IN WITH A PIECE OF WIRE TO RE SEW IT LIKE I DID, 😊😊😊

I DON'T KNOW IF HE LIKE IT BECAUE HE WORE IT A FEW DAYS AND I HAVEN'T SEEN IT SINCE THEN BUT I THOUGHT IT LOOKED WELL MADE AND CUTE.

I previously bought the cotton twill version of this cap, but I like this version better (not twill). The twill version is a stiffer material and has a bit more shape to it. This cotton version is a bit softer and sits on the more naturally (from my point of view). One issue is size, the smallest size is 7 1/8 to 7 1/4 (58cm). 58cm equates to a head size of 22 3/8 but my head measures 22 1/8, so it was a bit loose on my 22 1/8 inch head. But it has the adjustable velcro strap under the lining of the cap. I just pulled the strap up about 1/4 inch and the cap fits fine -- a nice feature. And as a side note, the till cap I bought (7 1/8 and 57cm) previously fit fine when I got it but it is a bit loose after about one year (but still ok). Last, I ordered the gray color and it seems true to the web site color.

When the hat arrived it was very wrinkled and smashed. Nothing like the photo in the ad. I'm very disappointed.

I have 4 other Botvela caps. They’re the wool blend versions which are more suitable for colder weather. They fit and look perfect. Unfortunately these lighter cotton versions that look similar are way too big. Size range was 7 3/8- 7 1/2. I purchased 2 and both caps were at least 7 1/2. I washed and dried them and they shrunk a little (still too big), but now they are a wrinkled mess. Going to boil them and hopefully shrink them more before ironing them. Won’t buy any more ‘summer’ caps from Botvela. Grey colored cap is much darker than photo, closer to charcoal. Not impressed with sizing, color or the thin material, which looks much thicker in photo.
