First quality large wire contacts, I have seen for solar connectors. Used normal hydraulic crimp-er for crimping lugs on wires. Worked perfect every time. What a pleasure to use. Nice to be able to take the connector apart after assembling and reuse, if needed. Remember 8 awg connector will not work with 10 awg connectors, just make a ad adapter cable, that will work.

Definitely worth the higher price to go with BougeRV MC4 products. We’ve purchased some cheap garbage on Amazon several times and the MC4 connectors are NOT all made the same way. Many are non-standard and are not made to specifications. The connector tools do no fit properly and the connectors are too big or too small when you go with a low grade cheap brand.These BougeRV MC4 connectors are great. Don’t waste your time thinking about it — these will save you time in the long run. Well worth the price.

A lot of MC4 connectors are available on Amazon. These are some of the better ones. Bougerv even sends extra male and female crimps because we all know how easy it is to put the wrong end on. They are my preferred supplier for mc4 connectors.

I wanted to have a few spare solar wire connectors for my RV solar. I got the kit with a few plugs and crimper but used most of them. I recommend these plugs.
