These are great quality and oil based, so they dry quickly and don't smudge easily. I painted over 100 full faces and still have a lot left for next time too.

I used these to do face-paint at a kids Halloween program. I had never used split cakes before and now I'm so sad I have missed out on this beauty. The colors are vibrant and blend beautifully. The kids loved the color combinations. It took a bit of practice to get used to, but it was absolutely worth it.

I have a few TAG face paint pans but wanted multicolored pans but did not want to soend $100 on TAG so i gave this a chance. ITS just as GREAT! And soo much cheaper. Also i loved the stencils and brushes. The colors were opaque on first swipe!

I purchased this to practice painting faces for a volunteer-based fall festival. This palette’s color mixtures, brushes and stencils can make anyone seem like a pro! Super easy to use, and very pigmented! Just make sure to not over saturate with water like I did the first couple of times. A little goes a long way!

Pretty impressive little set of face paint. I was worried because of the price, but it is comparable to Mehron or Tag face paint. Will be buying more for my high school Art Club. They love this set.

Was not expecting such nice quality paint. Easy to apply, and simple to clean up with water and soap. The provided paint brushes are soft and springy, making for smooth application. Paint is nicely pigmented and buildable, from transparent to opaque - applied in layers, or by changing the water:paint ratio - without caking. Dries flexible and crack-free with a soft feel, no smudging. Used on Hallowe'en, applied at 5:30am, worn through a workout then all day at work with no touchups needed other than translucent powder for shine.Would absolutely recommend.

nice paints, they go on smoothly and are nice colours. However, the stencils that come with it are very poor quality. I dont think I will use these as the paint seeps through them making it difficult to use. The paint brushes are not too bad but I do agree with what the others are saying that the one flat brush needs to be the size of the width of the split cake to pick up all colours so it would be great to have a 1†included. I just tried taking the paint off my arm and it STAINED my entire arm even with soap and water. Has anyone else had this issue with this brand? If it was on a persons face, I’m not sure that the customer is going to like it not coming off. I may send back. But I do love the colours and how they go on just not how they come off.

As a beginning face painter these paints are worth the cost to buy.Learn to load your one stroaks and brushes properly and practice and you won’t have an issue with pigment. My only issue is that my favourite split cake colour combo in this set the Magenta colour (second from the right) stains your skin after you remove with soap and water.You really have to scrub to get it off, which is much more work than it takes to get the only colours off. The other colours come off easily with just water.May be an issue if you’re painting on kids faces and parents have a really hard time taking it off at time. Could be concerning, but it does come off eventually with lots of scrubbing. I will be cutting this particular colour out of the split cake and replacing it with a different brand of paint in the same colour that doesn’t stain.
