I use this to hold a ball near my seat during league when there are too many balls in the return. I like that it's soft. When I pack up my two bowling balls in my bag, I slip this in between them. That works better than the thin pad that came with the bag and takes up no extra room. I bought the two pack and gave one to my wife.

I have a fancy ball holder that spins and didn't think I needed anything else. I was short a few bucks to reach free shipping, so on a whim I ordered this. Well, I now use it more than I thought I would. I still prefer the one that spins for sanding and polishing. But, for cleaning balls after use, I now prefer this one because the ball doesn't move and I can spray an entire half at a time without having to hold it steady. Seems well-made as well. I leave a ball sitting on it in my locker and so far, no sagging.

You get two and they work great to carry in your bag and effective if you need to set your ball near the rack or just use it to clean before or after bowling. Or just to have it out for easy access if you are in a tournament. I bowl with someone who uses it every week so even for cleaning they seem to hold up because his looks like new after a year of use and he uses it every week to clean his two balls and sometimes 3 balls.

It holds the ball, however, I generally only use it while cleaning my ball after bowling. It doesn't allow the ball to spin, so its unusable for my purposes. If I just needed it to keep an extra ball handy it would work fine.

Love the product used to hold my bowling balls during league. Very durable and will not scratch up my bowling balls. And it will not break like I see the plastic bowling ball holders I used to buy. I have ordered several of these to sit my bowling balls on. Highly recommend buying this item.
