Finally after years of trying over a dozen litters, BoxieCat Pro litter wins! Very Low Dust, Lower tracking outside the box and mat in front, great clumping, and controls odor. I have 4 cats and 5 litter boxes which I only clean once a day...Very low, almost no dust of any non-crystal litter I tried. My black cats do not come out covered with 2-4" of "dust socks". They are all digging and covering their waste again; which was an issue with other brand's large granules and the crystal litter types. There is no noticeable "clouds" of dust when I put litter into the box or scoop out waste. I have asthma and allergies, so this was a very important factor to me. I'd rate it's dust at 12 out of 10 :)Most of the litter stays in the box or the 2'x3' litter mat in front of it. The litter is heavy which I expect helps with the lower tracking. All of the "light weight" litter I tried were tracked everywhere, several - many feet away from the litter box area. Other 'Low Tracking" litters, particularly those with larger granules, did better in this category; but my cats didn't like them and stopped even trying to cover their waste, creating odor issues. I'd rate its tracking at 7 out of 10.Clumping is great. It clumps on the top as advertised. The clumps are solid, stay together, and are easy to scoop. 2 of my 4 cats pee on the sidewall instead of squatting and peeing directly into the litter; and even most of that clumps well at the bottom of the wall... And the BoxiePro Scoop & Spray Litter extender has done wonders keeping the walls cleaner and not smelling like urine! I'd rate its clumping as 12 out of 10!Odor control from the litter itself is good...adding the BoxiePro Scoop & Spray Litter Extender and its great! There is no overwhelming scent from the litter; having asthma and allergies, this was another important factor to me. I constantly ask my friends and family who visit, if they can smell my cats or their waste; and they have all responded when using BoxiePro "We don't smell the cats, or their poop or urine at all! If we didn't know better, we would not realize you even had cats." For clarity and openness... I only clean each litter box once a day. The cats are fed soft food twice daily and hard food is always available; so yes they have very stinky poop :) Again, the Spray Litter Extender has really helped reduce the urine odor caused by my 2 cats that pee on the side walls of the litter box (yes I have high wall litter boxes). I'd rate the litter's order control as 11 out of 10....but with the spray I'd rate it 15 out of 10!And finally... I am a real person. I am not related to anyone at BoxieCat. I have not, nor do I expect any discounts or compensation from them for writing this. I think this is only my 3rd written review and I have ordered a lot of items online for several years. Simply put, I have struggled for years trying to find the best litter. I have read many, many reviews for years and have used all of most of their top 5 recommendations. BoxieCat Pro is the best given the factors that are a priority for me discussed above.

Highly recommend this litter. This review is for the BOXIE PRO (grey and white bag).Boxie is effective in odor control—I’ve never needed to try another litter in my 4 years of owning my cat. It has low to no dust levels, and it clumps really well with very few clump crumbles when I scoop, and those are usually due to gently shaking the scoop. Finally, it’s free from fillers, chemicals, or preservatives, so it’s a clean litter.I do experience some light litter tracking, but I have a "runner rug" outside of the litter box, so by the time my cat steps off it, there's no tracking on the floor. Any litter that ends up on the rug is simply dumped back into the box.Between this and my Litter Genie, a visitor would never know I have a cat in my apartment.

This is hands down the best clay litter I have ever used. This is a high quality litter. It's a clay litter so it is on the heavier side. I got this to use with my Litter Robot and it is the best litter I have used in the Robot by far. I was able to move the LR to a smaller room because the litter left in the litter area has much less smell than other litters I have used. It does a great job of clumping and scooping into the basket and doesn't leave any mess behind like some others. I have tried various high quality litters and this one is way ahead of the rest. The clay is high quality with very little dust, it does not track as much as the lighter litters or even other clay litters, and it does a great job of eliminating odors. Although this is a more expensive litter, I still think it is a great value for the money for these reasons: it clumps very well, it lasts a long time so you have to change out all the litter way less often, and it's performance is way above the competitors.

I have 4 cats (including a bengal with extra stinky poo) and 2 litter boxes. I have tried EVERY litter under the sun and nothing comes close to Boxie. With my previous litter I was doing complete box changes every 2 days. With Boxie, I can scoop all week and just do complete changes once a week so I am using WAY less litter than I was with my other brand. I did see some reviews talking about a smell. I have been using Boxie for a few months and have NEVER noticed any smell at all (I am an asthmatic so my lungs would know). I have also noticed significantly less tracking and I no longer have to deal with dust plumes as this is completely dust free."If its so good why only 4 stars?" So glad you asked. THE WEIGHT! I am 47, in good health, moderate strength, and pride myself in doing most of the diy jobs by myself without my husband. HOWEVER, packing this heavy @$& litter in a flimsy plastic bag that you have to manage to lift up, hold the top of the bag, and then in some form a controlled method pour it in to the litter box is INSANELY hard. By the time I have done 2 extra large litter boxes I am sweating like I ran a marathon, grabbing the aspirin for my back, and telling my husband he is on house duty for the rest of the day. SERIOUSLY BOXIE!! Can you PLEASE find a better way??!! All in all a great product and I will never use another brand (at least as long as back can stand it!)

For the amount from 1 bag is expensive but also do note its not really dust free. However, the dust is very low to a minimal. Aside from that, it masks smell very well and low tracking. Its a win for me and my cats.

There was very little dust which was brilliant but it didn’t deal with smells very well. I clean out the debris every time my cats use it but it only took a couple of days for an unpleasant smell to linger which didn’t go away.

I don’t think I’ve ever written an Amazon review, but I felt compelled to write my first. I’ve had a very picky cat for 14 years. If he’s the slightest bit unhappy with his litter, he will just poop on the floor. I’ve tried so many different litters it’s insane. I could never find one that I was happy with that he would actually use. I stumbled across this litter and I’m so glad that I did. I now have two cats, and I haven’t changed out this litter in almost a month (I scoop it every day) and magically, SOMEHOW, it doesn’t smell AT ALL. My cat hasn’t pooped on the floor a single time, there’s zero dust, so easy to scoop and it clumps so well. Every time I scoop it, it smells and looks like I just put fresh litter in the box. It’s at a very reasonable price point, especially considering how long it lasts. I highly recommend trying this out.

It’s beyond me how this got so many positive reviews. The only good thing about it is that it’s dust free. Other than that, odor control is non existent, it’s been my least favorite and I had to buy two air purifiers for the two litter boxes I have only because of the lack of odor control. Clumping performance is very low, it crumbles as soon as I try to scoop it. Tracking is THE WORST. I wish I had the same experience of other’s but it was absolutely horrible, it’s dark in color and it’s spread across my entire house. Safe to say, won’t purchase again.

By far the best litter we have purchase.. yes, that is true. We have littereally tried almost all brands availble to us in our area and from online. We have 3 cats and trying to find a litter that clumps with sticking to the cats fur has beedn a tasking challenge. The silca litter is nice and light but does not come close to locking in the odor like Boxicat does. We have been using the Boxie® Probiotic 40 Day Odour Control Clumping Clay Cat & Kitty Litter and find that it clumps instantly and locks in odor for days. There is no dust from scooping but it does track a small amount. Probaly more so since one of our cats kicks out the litter and the other ones walk through it. However, it is small tracking and stays close to the litter box not tracked into the room. We love this litter that we have added this to our Amazon Subscription and tell our our friends about it whenever we hear of a new cat parent.
