The waist is a little bit bigger than expected. However, my son is a tall six year old. I’ve washed it twice. Still no fading. Just make sure you use fabric softener to get the same results that I am describing.

My two sons are so picky about how their clothes fit. And if you’re a mother of teenage boys, you’ll know that it is extremely hard to find jeans in the right sizes. My 15 years old is tall and skinny and likes his jeans baggy and my youngest is short and husky and he likes his to fight kind of tight. In the decription title of the item/picture it is indicated that the waist is elastic. There is no elastic or adjustable band in the jeans allowing for an akward and uncomfortable fit around the waist that even a belt can not fix.
