I ordered this red Coat in a Size 14/16 knowing my son will fit into it in a year. It's a wonderful winter coat. His favorite parts are the faux fur lining in the bodice and the hood. The hood is pretty oversized which is nice to actually protect from rain. He is a BoyScout so this is perfect for his campouts due to the extended sleeves with thumb holes, the zipper detachable hood and the sealed waterproof zipper pouches for things he needs to carry with him, such as his compass, whistle and first aide supplies. The sizing is right on so you can order appropriately !

First please forgive the mess and pic quality but let me start off by saying this is a Vine review, I received the coat in exchange for an honest review.When I first picked out the coat I thought I ordered a size 7/8 but when I opened the box it was size 10/12 in boys. My son is 6 and it will take years before he grows into it.I tried to exchange for smaller size, which I had no problem with a speedy trade in but I received the same exact size.I know this isn't the seller's fault but mine. I decided to hold on to it until he grows into it.The jacket has a nice weight, heavy and as you can see it's fully lined with fleece on the inside.I love the colorblocking with dark navy blue and the top vertical pocket.At the end of the sleeve, you will find a sewn in thumb glove but it's very thin and cheap feeling. You can easily cut off if not wanted or if it tears after use, so don't think this is a complaint. In fact nice to have the option.I only feel the advertised name on the front of the jacket is the downside. Most kids between 10 -12 don't want a jacket advertising a name brand unless it's popular name brand.

So I ordered for my son who normally wears 10-12 youth. I ordered 14-16 just in case and I am glad I did!! It has some room for him to grow but not gigantic. The lining inside is nice and warm. It is however just the best part that is lined. The arms are just the jacket material. The hood also has the nice fleece lining. The pockets are nice and deep and zippers run smooth. It just looks warm. It’s not a heavy bulky material. Fits perfect.

I had my 8yr old try this jacket (I got the 10-12) and it was too big for him. He was sorely disappointed and so sad because it’s a really well made and comfortable jacket. The shell outside acts as a windbreaker but it’s comfortably lined and it’s soft and warm. The face cover on the hood is a little low but it’ll work. It also allows room for a tam under it or a balaclava. It’s great workmanship and I promised my son to purchase another in his size since this one went to his older brother.

I ordered this in size 8 for my child who wears boys size 7/8 clothes. This fit well with room to grow even with a hoodie on underneath, without being super huge.It seems well made with a waterproof-like outer shell and warm inner layer.It comes with a detachable hood as well as pockets on either side plus the outer zip chest pocket on the right side.

My kid loves the jacket and the lining is super soft. We haven’t tested waterproof ability yet. Unfortunately the zipper gets jammed easily and my kid can’t zip it on their own. If I could return it, I would, but we needed something last minute.

Bought for grandson. Daughter said it's nice seems to be very good quality he likes the way it fits she said good find. 9-year-old size 14-16
