Not super impressed with these pants. They are extremely short, granted—my son is tall for his age but I went a size up and they are still way too short. Other than that, the material is very thin. Which could be a good thing, depending on the occasion but I just find the combination of very thin fabric + oversized side pockets + baggy throughout the thigh/knee area = off-putting combo. The ad does state some of these details (lightweight, large side pockets) so that is why I am not rating them any lower than 4.

My son really likes these pants. He likes the feel of them and the swishy sound they make. They fit as I expected them to. They seem to be true to size.

These cargo pants are very thin and have a thick, crunchy elastic gathering at the waist and at the ankles. My kid didn't love them because of how tight the waist is and thick too. But the orange ends of the drawstring got points, and of course the deep pockets. They do dry fast after a wash, but the size might be a bit small for how they were sized by age, which was weird. I'd list the size by waist and inseam measurements, so buying the size for a certain age might be risky. I just got the largest size they had for a teenager, and the pants still seem small. Nice color scheme though, and softish fabric. It has that swishy sound when you walk.

These are very thin pants, not quite what I was expecting. My son is skinny, and they are veryyy loose in the legs on him, they kind of remind me of bunched up trash bags. Neither of us were really a fan.

These pants look as pictured and the color was correct. The sizing seems a little bit big but it has a drawstring so that's okay. They are a very thin fabric which is good for drying out if they get wet, but they won't keep you warm in a cool situation. Good for hiking when it's warm out.
