Did a preliminary fir check to make sure the suit was as it should be before our snow/ski trip to Colorado and it was a perfect fit. My 12-yr old son has a smaller frame so I followed my instinct and got a 9/10Y instead of the 10/11Y. I didn't want the suit to swallow him up so this option was best. He still has room inside for thermals of course. Get the suit!

My son is 12 yrs old but he’s a little on the smaller size. He weighs 76 pounds and is 4ft 8in. The 9y-10y was perfect for him. I mainly wanted to write this to help someone else who has a child with a smaller built. I have a hard time finding good fitting clothes online. I can’t always go based on age. But I will say the jumper is great! The quality surprised us and it looks very nice. I would buy again.

It had a zipper around the waist which is useless. If you ask me on a snowsuit obviously, the zipper will break and will leak.

I ordered 10-11 yrs old for my 10 yrs old daughter and it is way too big more like a 14-15yrs old size . I am 5 5 and I could get in it .

Where I live, winters are long, cold and snowy. Having functional gear is super important. This suit is a great way to keep your kiddo protected while enjoying what winter has to offer. My initial thoughts were that this suit didn’t have enough insulation to be warm enough, but knowing that it is waterproof is a relief and wind resistance is always a plus. This suit is cut roomy so there’s plenty of room to layer wisely underneath. My daughter typically wears size 5/6 in most items so I went with size 6y in this suit. It’s quite big on her, but it’s workable. The legs are long, but the bottoms can be turned up to create a cuff since there is a separate snow guard lining that tucks into the boots. The sleeves have Velcro adjustments around the openings to secure over mittens/gloves or cinch down if you opt for over-the-sleeve style hand coverings. There are Velcro tabs on the sides of the bodice to help fine tune the fit, which in my daughter’s case was needed. I like the deep hood which fits easily over winter hats and has a bungee cord to adjust the fit. There’s lots of zippers on this suit and they all function smoothly. The way this suit is cut, we’re easily going to get at least 2 winters out of it before she outgrows it. I haven’t been able to test this suit out in the snow, as we haven’t had any yet, but it’s coming soon enough and I’ll update my review should any problems arise. My daughter loves this suit and is very excited to wear it come winter!
