These tubes are of excellent quality and strong and corrosion resistant. I used to buy them locally. I like to make lamps out of driftwood, rocks, etc. However, local stores now carry only 12 inches or less. That's too short for me. My experience with these so far has been very good.

I bought two tubes to make a lamp. To my surprise they didn’t arrive with any nuts to hold them in place to be attachedto the base. After 2 trips to hardware store I found what I needed. Get 7/16 inch 20 threads. I needed to bend these tubes twice to hang over the top of my figurine. I packed the tubes with sand before using a $14 manual tube bender. The tube bended just fine without pinching or crackling. After that, assembly of the lamps were straight forward

They were quick to resend the package when my original one came empty. There was slight rust on the ends of the lamp rod, but they are heavy duty and just what I needed to complete my project.

I made a lamp ou of an old wooden lantern. This worked perfectly for the cord to be protected from the oyster shells!
