I like the chain. It's thicker and pairs well with a fixture with a larger drum style shade. It is brown oiled bronze. It is not black and not brassy.

I am very happy with this purchase. I got an amazing handing light from an estate sale and wanted to add this to my clubhouse cabin. This chain helped update the light because I needed to hang it longer than the existing chain. The bronze color blended in perfectly! Very happy!

The chain is so dark it looks black. If you want a true antique bronze look, this won't work.

It is pretty hard to open these eyes up. You might need a vise.
