Excellent coil of Fretwire. I'm building an 8 string classical guitar and this seemed to do the job pretty well. Its a bit more shallow in depth than I expected but its nice. I like that it comes as one continuous wire to let me cut it to the length I need. Making 21 frets on an 8 string I had quite a bit leftover.

I just finished installing all the frets on my mandolin and everything looks nice and pretty and it work really nice so yes I would say a 10 for this product

The fret wire was just the job for my travel ukulele. It came coiled which actually helped to apply a radius to the frets for correct installation. It took a while to arrive thought.

Took awhile to find the correct saw to install this fret wire. The bottom of the fret that presses into the wood is .028" wide. If you do not want to spend the money for an expensive fret saw you use an .018" coping saw blade. To get high tension on the blade I am using a adjustable jewelers saw..So far I have installed the frets in walnut fingerboards with the mentioned tools which are available from Amazon.ca...All in all happy with this fret wire.
