These are terrible for a newborn. The elastic is too rough and uncovered so it cuts the skin on baby wrist.

These mits actually stay on!! I’d registered for some other mits but they kept falling off. These ones are actually tight enough they stayed on my baby’s hands. Get these ones!

I love the design of the mittens, they looked super cute on my baby. I used two pairs before noticing that they can easily be damaged (the fit). The mittens seem to be held together by a thin string/thread that can easily break. When this happens, that tight fit on the mitten is gone. All the gloves just fall off now. That was a bit disappointing. I have all the mittens but cannot use them because they are loose and my baby will scratch herself when they fall off. I ended up purchasing other mittens with velcro to ensure they stay on my baby’s hands.
