I did a lot of comparing and i love this brake pedal lock my friend suggested. Shocked by this excellent anti-theft device cause it’s made from durable stainless steel. I also like its amazing functions like--as a window breaker or even a handy self-defense tool! Good design!Come with 3 metal keys. The lock is easy to use, with a quick and convenient locking way. Highly recommend for anyone looking to secure their car!

I’ve been using the Kernel Brake Pedal Lock on my 2006 Saturn Vue for a few weeks now, and I find it to be a valuable addition for anti-theft protection. It only takes a few seconds to install, but it adds an extra layer of security and peace of mind. The process is simple—just follow the instructions in the product description, and you’ll have it set up quickly.As for the glass window breaker and its potential as a self-defense tool, it’s better than having nothing in an emergency. My vehicles all have a dedicated glass breaker, and I rely on other self-defense tools if a situation arises.The Kernel Brake Pedal Lock does an excellent job of disabling the brake or clutch pedal, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for this type of security. I prefer this over a steering wheel lock, as those can be easily defeated by cutting the steering wheel with a hacksaw in just seconds. While this device can be defeated as well, I believe it offers a more robust and secure solution overall.

Did not work on my 2000 gmc yukon ..it did not lock down tight , you could wiggle it up .

It is heavy duty and feels well built. The key system is narrow, round, and double-sided making it difficult to pick. Also, this lock out device comes with three keys. It is available in two versions based on pedal clearance, so select the one you need as directed in the advertisement.The most exciting thing about this device is that it locks the CLUTCH pedal in an upright position making the car (or truck) undriveable, let alone unstartable. I own two cars that can benefit greatly from this product, a 1967 Pontiac Firebird 326 HO Convertible with the 4-speed Muncie M21 and a 1979 Chevrolet Corvette L-82 with the 4-speed Muncie M22. I have included photos of the device installed in my '67 Firebird. It fits exactly the same way in the C3 '79 Corvette. This device will chase the majority of crooks away from your special ride! Remember, locks simply keep honest people honest. A little bit of deterrence thwarts most would-be criminals.This pedal locking device is VERY EASY to install. Oh, it's so easy to use this device. To release, insert the key and turn it to unlock. This will cause the handle to immediately snap back into closed position and eject the key. On my hot rods, I lock the clutch pedal; however, either the clutch or brake could be locked.This Opsoopi (stamped Z-con) pedal lock can be used for theft deterrence or joy ride deterrence with your teen or adult children. Lastly, this pedal lock can be used as a window breaker. One of the feet has a hardened point bolted to it for this purpose.I really like and can highly recommend this security device to you for your personal car! 5 stars, plus!!! This is an anti theft device that hooks around your car's brake pedal and locks in place so the pedal can not be pressed. The device appears to be well made and has some weight to it. It even has a punch built in to break out a window if you need to break one. My device fit perfectly around my brake pedal. I pulled up on the handle to lock the device in place. There was no way anyone would be able to press on the brake pedal after the device is locked. The problem I ran into was when unlocking the device. The first key I used actually broke. The keys appear to be made from a cheap pot metal or plastic with chrome paint. My first key broke on the very first time I used the device. It appears they cheaped out on the keys. Maybe that's why they give you 3 keys. My second key did work. But due to the keys being the weak link and the first one breaking I am afraid to use this anti theft device. I certainly do not want to lock it around my brake pedal and not be able to unlock it. Until the company makes metal keys I would avoid this anti theft device.
