My 25 year old Braun multimix died so I bought a new one. This one is even better than the last one. It is quiet, smooth, powerful, comfortable to hold and easy to operate. The dial is a nice update and works very well to adjust the speed for a variety of tasks. For those who question the plastic on the beaters and dough hooks; don't worry. They are the same sturdy pieces as the ones from the old multimix. I still have the 25 year old pieces and they fit this new mixer as well.I will admit I was briefly distracted by other options as I started my search for a replacement. I soon realized, after seeing mixed reviews for the other brand names that reported beaters shedding silicone, inadequate power, loud motors, short product lives and otherwise inconsistent performance, that I should just stay with a known reliable, durable product.

Great product: light, pleasant and convenient to hold. Speed selection is great, it's not loud and the food processor is really useful. Highly recommend it! I make hummus, cakes, and pesto with it multiple times a week. I wished I got it sooner.

After a heavy research of hand mixers, I chose the latest Braun, and I'm Very happy with it. It's quiet, blends well, and easy to manage the buttons. As a handmixer, it's quite powerful, and probably why it's a tad heavier than I expected, But true to its ad, the ergonomics are great; It's weight is primarily located&supported directly over the beaters, compared to most other mixers that house the motor in the back of their casing, requiring more arm labor/strength. The slowest speed is a bit faster than preferred, but slow enough. It's easy to set down/balance on it's rear. The beaters are very easy to install, remove and wash; love that they're stainless steel. The little chopper is very handy, a convenient size for quick&small needs. Unlike a proper food processor, it doesn't offer much chopping variation(controlled outcome is pretty much very minced, or totally random sized pieces, but it chops well), and it's very easy to assemble, disassemble, use and wash; glad I paid a tiny bit more to add the chopper. Love my new mixer!

Nicely slow starting speed. Full gamut of speeds up to turbo, so easy to program for the task at hand. Reasonably quiet. The chopper is a nice add-on (haven't used it yet, so can't speak to the quality or longevity of the blade). My only complaint is that it is an obvious refurb/return, as I found a box inside that used to contain a Samsung smart watch. I did not see anywhere on the ad that this was not going to be a brand new product.So, despite the new/used question, I will keep this, as the product itself appears to be of good quality. A bit disappointed in Amazon/Braun not being upfront about the non-new status.

Best buy in quite a while. Works great. Love the Chopper. Use the chopper a lot. Make frozen banana ice cream. Was able to purchase on sale. ($80). Good value for the money.

This BRAUN “Mix Master†is AMAZINGLY AWESOME😎 I dropped my Mix Master bowl lid and it broke and my heart broke 💔 Despondent is an excellent term to describeme🥲 I mean, I had my original BRAUN “Mix Master†for over 25 YEARS! I TRIED a small Hamilton and that is a solid NO. This NEW IMPROVED BRAUN “Mix Master†has a KAZILLION speeds to really and truly either MIX something in the BOWL ATTACHMENT, OR CHOP, DICE and is EASY PEASY to clean! I HAD reservations about a “new†BRAUN “Mix Masterâ€, but TRUST ME ON THIS, YOU WILL BE HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY with one OR two BRAUN “Mix Masters†in YOUR KITCHEN 😎😎😎

Braun remains a good brand. This is a fun item to have in the kitchen; I replaced a 40 year old mixer and am enjoying the strong motor and especially the mini food processor, I use it all the time. It's comfy to hold and well designed.

I purchased this to help making different type of bread. As much as I love my hand whisk, it is hard on my hand to whisk continuously as I learnt this lesson the hard way.-- the turn-a-dial speed adjustment design is truly unique but I have no problem using it. In fact, after using the machine 5-6 times I prefer this design over others-- the attachments are easily attached and detached. They are easy to clean. It is just as quick to clean them with soap and water even tough they are dish washer safe-- it is quite noisy for such as small machine but it is still reasonable-- dough hook can handle all of the bread recipes I have tried so far (about 5)-- I have not experiment enough with the food processing attachment yet. We used it to mince smaller amount of herbs/vegetable with very good result-- love the low speed! an important feature for beginner like me!

Quise actualizar mi batidora de mano y ésta es perfecta; tiene la potencia tres veces más que la que tenÃa, cuando batà la mantequilla quedó cremosa y el pan que hice quedó perfecto; usé las varillas y sà realizan la labor que quiero, también usé el picador para picar los ingredientes para mis albóndigas los vacié al bol agregué la carne molida y quedaron muy bien mis albóndigas; ya no tuve que meter las manos para amasar. Como siempre me fascinan los productos Braun. Muchas gracias por diseñar éstos productos. Felicidades.
